The 2.2 megapixel hidden camera features a 3.7 mm wide angle megapixel lens to capture a wide view of larger areas. The covert security camera produces up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) full-HD video resolution at 30 fps for sharp, detailed images. The covert camera offers Smart IR technology that reduces over exposure of the IR LEDs at the center of the image. An integrated IR array enables the camera to see up to 40' in the dark without washing out the subject at closer range. True day/night (ICR) captures sharp, detailed images day and night.

The camera operates on a no glow 940 nm wavelength that's virtually undetectable to the human eye and makes it ideal for covert surveillance. The smoke detector hidden camera features digital noise reduction (DNR), extended dynamic range (XDR) and automatic gain control (AGC) for enhanced imaging capabilities. DNR and XDR reduce video noise and balances contrast and exposure to produce a balanced, high-contrast image, while automatic gain control improves scene illumination. The covert camera operates on 12 Vdc.

Smart IR - Capture clear, sharp images in low light
Smart IR (smart infrared) automatically adjusts the amount of infrared light used to illuminate a scene as the subject moves closer to or further away from the camera, resulting in optimal exposure and a sharp, clear image that is neither washed out or too dark.

True Day/Night (ICR) - Enjoy around-the-clock surveillance
Alibi day/night cameras with true day/night (ICR) deliver a sharp image in low light and nighttime conditions. An IR cut filter blocks out infrared light to produce true-to-life color images during the daytime. In low light conditions and at night, the filter is removed, letting infrared light pass through to provide crisp, well-defined black and white images.

Wide Angle Lens - Cover more area
The camera lens's wide field of view enables it to cover a larger area than a standard lens and provides greater depth of field, along with better low light performance.

Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) - Reduces video noise
This feature reduces video noise which can affect video quality. DNR produces more accurate video images by eliminating noise between frames.

Extended Dynamic Range (XDR) - Enhances luminance and contrast
This camera feature extends the dynamic range of light for a greater range of luminance. XDR balances contrast to produce an image with bold blacks and brighter whites.

Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - Improve scene illumination
Automatic gain control boosts the video signal coming from the imager to amplify and improve scene illumination.
