The high-resolution HD Analog video camera is ideal for security applications where a high level of detail is important, such as facial recognition of individuals or license plate identification of vehicles. The 2.1 megapixel dome camera is equipped with a 1/3"CMOS image sensor that delivers 1920x1080 (1080p) full-HD video. The camera uses HD-TVI technology to transmit HD video over RG59 coax cabling up to 1600' with no latency.

The camera's 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens is adjustable from a wide 78deg. viewing angle, for covering large areas, to a focused 28deg. field of view, for monitoring more distant locations. An external lens adjustment on the camera housing simplifies installation with the ability to easily adjust the camera's focal length. The camera is equipped with an integrated long-range IR array that enables it to see up to 130' in the dark. Smart IR technology is used to prevent over exposure of the IR LEDs at the center of the image so that the subject is not washed out at closer ranges.
True day/night (ICR) captures sharp, detailed images during the day and in low light. Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D digital noise reduction (3D-DNR) produce exceptional image quality with less noise in variable and low light conditions. The HD-TVI outdoor dome surveillance camera has a -4deg. F - 140deg. F extreme temperature operating range which ensures reliable operation in extremely hot and cold conditions.
The camera has an IP66 weather-rated enclosure that offers complete protection from small particles such as dust and sand, as well as from inclement weather conditions, including rain and snow. A built-in defog function improves image quality in foggy conditions. The vandal-resistant camera housing offers an IK10 impact resistance rating against physical impact for use in hazardous areas such as near ATMs and in alleyways and stairwells. The dual-voltage capable camera operates at dual power: 12 Vdc and 24 Vac. Please note that HD-TVI security cameras require HD-TVI DVRs for recording video.
HD-TVI Technology - High-resolution megapixel video at a lower cost
The camera uses HD-TVI technology to send zero latency 720p HD video over RG59 coax cabling. HD-TVI cameras are as easy to install as standard analog CCTV cameras, but deliver HD video. HD-TVI enables longer cable runs for long distance installations, with transmission distances of up to 1600' over standard coax cabling (or any traditional analog CCTV cabling).

3D-DNR incorporates frame-to-frame noise reduction with spatial noise reduction to produce clear video images with less noise, in low light conditions. Noise reduction is critical for video because noise affects image quality. Cameras with 3D-DNR produce sharper, more accurate video images.

The camera's Smart IR (smart infrared) feature automatically adjusts the infrared light required in a scene as the subject moves closer to or further away from the camera, resulting in optimal brightness and a sharp, clear image that's neither washed out or too dark.
True Day/Night (ICR) - Capture clear images day and night
Their day/night cameras with true day/night (ICR) deliver a sharp image in low light and nighttime conditions. An IR cut filter blocks out infrared light to produce true-to-life color images during the daytime. In low light conditions and at night, the filter is removed, letting infrared light pass through to provide crisp, well-defined black and white images.

The camera's On Screen Display (OSD) provides the ability to fine-tune every setting of your camera to achieve the best possible image quality. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) - Gain a clear view in extreme lighting conditions
This feature enables the camera to produce clear images in diverse lighting conditions. WDR balances the contrast of light and shadow and enables the camera to deliver clear video with near perfect exposure in harsh lighting conditions such as in extremely bright, dark or backlit areas within a scene.
