The Alibi 2.1 megapixel 1080p HD-TVI + 1000 TVL CS-mount WDR box security camera offers dual resolution capabilities, supporting both HD-TVI and traditional analog technologies. The ALI-CS1080P box security camera features a 1/3" CMOS image sensor that delivers 2.1 megapixel resolution and up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) full-HD video with sharp, detailed images. HD-TVI technology supports longer cable transmission distances and enables you to use existing (RG59 and Cat5/6 coax cables or most standard CCTV shielded cabling and transmits zero-latency high-definition video over standard coax.
The CS mount camera also features the ability to also support traditional analog technology, to deliver up to 1000 TV lines (TVL) of resolution. The 2.1 megapixel box camera offers enhanced imaging capabilities with wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D digital noise reduction (3D-DNR) to reduce video noise and improve image quality in variable and low light conditions. The HD-TVI camera offers convenient control of OSD settings over coax cabling, directly from an Alibi HD-TVI recorder, providing easy adjustment of camera settings and eliminating the need for running an additional data cable. The outdoor box camera is equipped with an IP66 weather-rated housing that provides protection from elements such as dust and dirt, along with harsh weather conditions, including rain and snow.
The outdoor security camera features a -4deg.F - 140deg.F extreme temperature operating range to withstand hot and cold temperatures. The camera is also equipped with a built-in defog feature that improves camera visibility in rainy, wet or foggy weather conditions. The Alibi HD-TVI camera is also dual voltage capable, with the ability to operate on 12 Vdc or 24 Vac.

3D-DNR incorporates frame-to-frame noise reduction with spatial noise reduction to produce clear video images with less noise, in low light conditions. Noise reduction is critical for video because noise affects image quality. Cameras with 3D-DNR produce sharper, more accurate video images.
