This NVR has 2 hard drive bays that support up to 2 x 6 TB hard drives and an incoming bandwidth of 160 Mbps to support up to 16 IP cameras. You can capture higher quality details with a recording resolution of up to 8.0 MP.

This NVR supports the latest video compression format, H.265+, which provides superior improvements in image quality and bandwidth. It also allows for faster, more fluid viewing, along with the ability to view more channels remotely. With H.265+ compression, you can store more information using fewer hard drives, which allows you to do more with less. This recorder also supports H.265, H.264 OVC and H.264.

The recorder comes with 1 alarm output to connect to external devices such as a siren or fire alarm. This enables trigger recording based on the camera location connected to a specific alarm/sensor. This versatile recorder allows multiple selectable recording modes: continuous, motion detection, VCA and event. Recording features include event search, log and notification, as well as email notification. The integrated 16 port PoE (Power of Ethernet) switch that supports 802.3af and 802.3at reduces the need for additional network switches and offers the highly convenient plug-and-play auto connect feature for compatible Alibi cameras.

This NVR works with the user-friendly Alibi CMS (Central Management Software), a professional monitoring platform that enables you to centrally manage all your devices, at multiple locations, from a single interface. The CMS enables you to view up to 64 live cameras and it is loaded with powerful features that include: drag-and-drop system and camera selection, customizable displays, device grouping, alarms and notifications and remote system management.

Free Alibi Witness 2.0 iOS and Android mobile app delivers convenient remote viewing of live and recorded video via a secure Peer-to-Peer connection from the recorder to your mobile device, provided by Guarding Vision's P2P Cloud Service. You will also receive push notifications that alert you in real time to events such as motion detection, tampering or VCA events.
