This PTZ camera is ideal for surveillance of wide open areas-including parking lots, casinos, school and business campuses, shopping malls, train stations, intersections, and airports.

Equipped with a 1/2.8" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor, this camera produces 2.0 megapixel resolution and features a 25x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom for zooming in on detail. With a 360 Degree endless panning rotation and a -15 Degree - 90 tilt (auto flip) as well as a focal length of 4.8 - 120 mm that provides a 57.6 Degree (Wide) - 2.5 Degree (Tele) field of view, you can keep an eye on broader surroundings.

The camera features dual video output, allowing you to choose between HD and analog technologies, which makes it possible to use with analog DVRs. The camera delivers 1920 x 1080 (1080p) full-HD video resolution or 1000 TV lines of CVBS analog-both at 30 frames per second.

The Alibi PTZ camera features true day/night with mechanical cut filter, which captures sharp, detailed color images during the day and black and white images in low light. Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D digital noise reduction (3D-DNR) produce exceptional image quality with less noise in variable and low-light conditions.

The camera features Advanced Infrared Technology, which includes Smart IR and Full Frame Illumination that enables the camera to see up to an impressive 330 in the dark.

Smart IR reduces over-exposure of the IR LED at the center of the image without washing out the subject at close range. Black glass on the lens hides the IR LED from view when the IR is not turned on.

Full Frame Illumination (FFI) delivers a wider illumination spread and offers several advantages over standard IR technology, including:

It is also compatible with other protocols such as Pelco P/D and Hikvision Protocol. Using this Alibi HD PTZ camera with a compatible Alibi HVR provides plug-and-play PTZ control for simple installation and ease-of-use.

The PTZ camera is also equipped with two alarm inputs and 1 alarm output that can be triggered via access control module or alarm sensor. You can store up to 8 patrols with each PTZ camera and up to 32 preset in each patrol, allowing you the flexibility and range you need to cover wider and more specific areas. You also have the ability to record 4 patterns with the total recording of 10 minutes.

The camera's IP66 weather-rated enclosure provides protection from particles such as dust and sand, as well as harsh weather conditions, including rain and snow.
