The Alibi 1080p 32x Zoom 490' IR Outdoor PTZ Camera provides a cost-effective security solution that supports HD-TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS analog technologies. The Alibi HD-TVI outdoor PTZ camera is ideal for surveillance of wide open areas-including parking lots, casinos, school and business campuses, shopping malls, train stations, intersections and airports. The PTZ camera is equipped with a 1/2.8" HD Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor that produces 2.0 megapixel resolution and features a 32x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom for zooming in on detail. The PTZ security camera has a long-range IR that enables it to see up to 490' in the dark.

The camera features dual video output, enabling you to choose between HD-TVI and analog technologies. The camera delivers 1920 x 1080 (1080p) full-HD video resolution at 30 frames per second or 1000 TV lines of CVBS analog at 30 frames per second. Note: This security camera supports HD-TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS analog output making it possible to use with analog DVRs. The Alibi PTZ camera features true day/night (ICR) which captures sharp, detailed color images during the day and black and white images in low light. Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D digital noise reduction (3D-DNR) produce exceptional image quality with less noise in variable and low light conditions.

The camera features Advanced Infrared Technology, which includes Smart IR and Full Frame Illumination. Smart IR reduces over-exposure of the IR LED at the center of the image without washing out the subject at close range. Black glass on the lens hides the IR LED from view when the IR is not turned on.

Full Frame Illumination (FFI) delivers a wider illumination spread and offers several advantages over standard IR technology, including:

Other imaging features include 3D intelligent positioning and automatic image stabilization, along with privacy masking to keep desired areas private and specified zones cannot be viewed or recorded. The outdoor PTZ camera enables you to pan, tilt and zoom in on activity both near and far. The camera features 360 deg. endless panning rotation with a pan speed of 160 deg. /second and -15 deg. to 90 tilt (auto flip), with a tilt speed of 120 deg. /second. The camera offers PTZ Coaxitron support and provides convenient PTZ control over coax cabling with compatible Alibi HVRs. This eliminates the need to run an RS-485 line for data, along with setting up traditional PTZ controls for camera address, baud rate and protocol. Using this Alibi HD-TVI PTZ camera with a compatible Alibi HVR provides plug-and-play PTZ control for simple installation and ease-of-use.

The PTZ camera is also equipped with two alarm inputs and 1 alarm output that can be triggered via access control module or alarm sensor. The camera's IP66 weather-rated enclosure provides protection from particles such as dust and sand, as well as harsh weather conditions, including rain and snow. The camera has an operating range of -22 deg. F - 149 deg. F and also offers TVS 4,000V lightning protection, surge protection and voltage transient protection.

HD-TVI Technology - High-definition video over coax
HD-TVI sends zero latency 720p or 1080p full HD video over RG59 coax cabling. HD-TVI cameras and DVRs offer the advantages of HD resolution video, but are as easy to install as standard analog CCTV equipment. HD-TVI enables longer cable runs for long distance installations, with transmission distances of up to 1600' over RG59 coax cables.

The camera supports both HD-TVI and analog resolutions. This enables you to utilize traditional analog or take advantage of high-definition, full-HD video, based on your application needs.

True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) - Gain better images in diverse lighting conditions
This feature enables the camera to take multiple images while capturing video at different exposure levels. It combines the images for the best balance and compensates for lights and darks for perfectly exposed images in both bright and shadowed areas of a diversely lit scene. True WDR also reduces video noise.

3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D-DNR) - Get exceptional video image quality with less noise
3D-DNR incorporates frame-to-frame noise reduction with spatial noise reduction to produce clear video images with less noise, in low light conditions. Noise reduction is critical for video because noise affects image quality. Cameras with 3D-DNR produce sharper, more accurate video images.

True Day/Night (ICR) - Enjoy around-the-clock surveillance
Our day/night cameras with true day/night (ICR) deliver a sharp image in low light and nighttime conditions. An IR cut filter blocks out infrared light to produce true-to-life color images during the daytime. In low light conditions and at night, the filter is removed, letting infrared light pass through to provide crisp, well-defined black and white images.

Privacy Zone Masking - Keep desired areas private
Set zones for select areas within the camera's field of view that need to be excluded when viewing and recording video. These areas are overlaid with a privacy mask so that video of the specified zones cannot be viewed or recorded.
