Baritone uke vs. Guitar

Looks in real life as the picture. Bought for my wife to strengthen and toughen her fingers before moving to guitar. This uke is tuned the same as first four strings of the guitar. Tuned right up without a string popping. Nylon strings easier on the finger tips. Action is good so can make bar chords without much buzzing. Wife may not want to move on to the guitar. Comes with outputs to an amp but not tested. Removed a star from the ratings because it did not come with case or shoulder strap. A tuning fork would be a nice touch too. But highly recommended.

About Alvarez Regent Baritone

Alvarez Ukuleles have been carefully designed to deliver an open sounding and responsive instrument with good projection, volume and fine tone. All Alvarez ukes are constructed with a dovetail neck joint for optimal strength and transfer of energy between the neck and body. The bracing design is a modification on traditional fan style braces to optimize response. The response is also aided by a solid "slotted" techwood bridge, which enhances projection and helps to make string changes easier and quicker. Other appointments and features include quality-seasoned tonewoods, real bone nut and saddles, mahogany neck, techwood fingerboard and premium tuners.
