Alesis USB Studio Five Piece Drum Kit, 4 Dual-Zone Drum Pads, Kick and 3 Cymbals

The USB Studio Drum Kit from Alesis is an electronic drum set that gives you hardware control over your MIDI and software-based drum instruments. It includes four 8" drum pads, a hi-hat cymbal with a dedicated variable control pedal and a ride and crash cymbal. The included Trigger io interface allows you to connect to a computer via its USB port and to use the drum pads and cymbals to trigger software instruments like BFD, Toontrack and Reason (Mac and Windows compatible).

The Trigger io allows you to expand your kit with its 10 inputs for electronic drums and cymbals. A MIDI out is included on the back of the Trigger io that enables you to play sound modules and other MIDI controlled instruments. All of the included drums have dual-zones for a realistic playing feel and the TRS inputs on the Trigger io enable you to use both zones. Another 1/4" TRS input on the Trigger io that allows you to instantly change the drum set with a foot switch.

The RealHead Kick Pad allows you to use the single or double-beater kick drum pedal of your choice (a kick drum pedal is not included). The cymbals feature a rubberized surface material that keeps the feel of a real cymbal, without making very much noise when played. There are large choke triggers on the underside of the crash cymbal and the dual-zone ride. The black aluminum StealthRack is ergonomic and fully adjustable and allows you room to add more drums and cymbals to your kit.
