Use this lightweight shatter-resistant acrylic instead of glass to protect artwork against harmful ultraviolet rays that can fade your images over time; each sheet is 1/8'' thick and filters out 98% of UV rays. Sold individually.

Exactly what I needed!

The UV-protective plexiglass I received was damaged in the corner, so I was given a refund.  I assume the plexiglass works as claimed to shield artwork from damaging ultraviolet rays.   I would probably give the product 5 stars, if not for the crunched corner.  Of course only time will tell if the colors of a photograph are actually protected.  Adorama delivered the product to me quickly and accurately and offered the refund without hesitation, since the item was currently out of stock for replacement.

Important to UV protect

Love this material.  Used to protect metal framed pictures required for an art show.
