You can trust the Archival Methods Museum Board to deliver exceptional quality and durability for all your printing and display needs. Crafted from 100% cotton fiber, this 13x19 Antique White Museum Board is a sturdy, 2-ply paper product that offers a yellow/ivory tone, perfect for art, photography, and crafting projects.
This high-quality museum board is acid-free and lignin-free, ensuring your artwork remains protected from the damaging effects of acid migration and environmental pollution. The board is buffered with calcium carbonate, maintaining a stable pH level that prevents it from becoming more acidic over time.
Unlike many other boards, this product does not contain any optical brightening agents, post-consumer waste recycled pulp, metal particles, waxes, plasticizers, or residual bleach peroxide. Its sulfur content is less than 0.0008% reducible sulfur, and it has minimal iron and copper content, ensuring the utmost purity for your projects.
The Archival Methods Museum Board uses alkaline sizing for both internal and external sizing, with no alum used in the manufacturing process. It also boasts a 2-3% alkaline reserve, ensuring it remains acid-free. The color dyes used are light-fast and non-bleeding, providing vibrant and lasting colors for your artwork.
This museum board passes the rigorous Photographic Activity Test (PAT) ISO 14523 (formerly ANSI IT9.16), and its lignin content is tested by TAPPI 236 cm-85, with a Kappa number of less than five.
Ideal for matting, mounting, and preserving fine prints, precious documents, traditional and digital photographs, this 2-ply mat creates a 1/32" separation between your artwork and its glazing, providing a flat, supportive backing for both display and storage. Choose the Archival Methods Museum Board for a reliable, professional-grade solution for your creative projects.
