The buffering in the archival tissue provides an additional layer of protection against potential damage to the items it's preserving. It helps to neutralize any acids that may come into contact with the tissue, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the items.
Yes, the Buffered Archival Tissue is ideal for preserving a variety of items, including photographs. Its acid-free and lignin-free composition ensures that your photographs are safe from harmful chemicals that can cause deterioration over time.
Acid-free and lignin-free means that the tissue does not contain any acidic elements or lignin, a complex organic polymer. These substances can cause yellowing and degradation of materials over time. By being acid and lignin free, the tissue ensures the longevity and preservation of your items.
The tissue is thin to allow for easy folding, padding, or crumpling without creating hard edges that could potentially harm the items you're preserving. Its thinness does not compromise its protective qualities, making it both user-friendly and effective.

Well packaged for shipment but the corner was folded over on the top 25 sheets. My intent is to use this buffered tissue paper as a print separator/protector during storage and shipment.

If your willing to wait 12-13 days to get your product thats marked "in stock and ready to ship" then by all means you will be just fine. If you actually have a need to fullfill then use any of the other companies that can get it to you the same week. Just under 2 weeks for a small package of tissue paper. I have no dea how this company is still in business.
