(Approximately 1/16") thickness of the board offers a sturdy and supportive backing for both display and storage, making it an ideal choice for window mats and mat backing. The color dyes used are light-fast and non-bleeding, preserving the original colors of your artwork.This museum board passes the rigorous PAT (Photographic Activity Test) ISO IT 18916 (formerly ISO 14523 ANSI IT9.16), and its lignin content, tested by TAPPI 236 cm-85, has a Kappa number of less than five. This ensures the highest archival standards for your valuable pieces.The single ply sheets of this museum board are laminated together using an all-natural starch adhesive, further enhancing its durability and resistance to wear and tear.
