Troubleshooting Help

Initially I contacted support online as I was having trouble on my android connecting to the 960H remotely and I definitely could not get it to playback from my phone. I contacted live support today and was helped by Carolyn. We were able to do a work around by downloading smartclient onto my laptop and connecting that way. That seem to be a better connection. Seems that Amcrest is not really supporting these dvr's under Android anymore.

I got a used one four years ago and it's still working perfectly. I'm very happy with Amcrest's customer support too; Sheldon showed me how to install and use the Windows client to download recorded footage to my computer.

This Amcrest DVR is easy to set up and user friendly. It comes with a mouse and HDMI  cable. A keyboard appears on the camera monitor or television when it is necessary to make adjustments to the camera settings or input FTP settings.

Reliable and well made

Had to return it as the mouse did not work.Im waiting for a replacement.

This has to be one of the finest security systems on the market. I have no complaints other than the useless iPad app. Iphone app works fine. I'd recommend this to any beginner because it's so easy to get running and operate.

Great Product.

I think this is a very nice DVR system. Easy to setup and fully functional in about an hour. I had just installed this same system at a friend's home and saw how nice it was so I decided I would get one for myself.
