The DXW-2 wall plate is a versatile 2-gang, multi-input Decora style wall plate with HDBaseT CAT extension. Its standout feature is its ability to convert VGA (YPbPr, S-Video, Video) with audio to HDMI locally and transmit the signal up to 600ft, setting it apart from other products on the market. The sources are easily selectable with the buttons on the wall plate, DXB-8 1 gang 8 button panel, or remotely via RS-232 commands sent through the matching receiver device.

The DXW-2 can be remotely powered by the receiver device and also has the ability to receive IR signals via the sensor window on the front of the unit and pass them to the receiver unit for remote control of IR controllable devices. This feature-rich wall plate combines the functionality of a switcher, converter, and extender into one neat package, making it a cost-effective and space-saving solution for your home theater or conference room setup.

The included DXE-CAT-RX1 receiver unit is part of our expanding Digital Xtreme Series and is one of our new HDBaseT CAT extenders. Its powerful design provides usability and features not found anywhere else. Single-sided connections for HDMI, Control, and Power provide a cleaner wiring and rack mounting solution. The innovative design allows the system to be powered via an AC adapter from either side. With a single CAT 5e/6/7 cable, the DXE-CAT-RX1 can go up to 230ft 1080p 60Hz 48bit color depth with bi-directional RS-232, & IR.
