The DXW-2 is a 2-gang multi-input Decora style wall plate that features HDBaseT CAT extension, offering the unique ability to convert VGA (YPbPr, S-Video, Video) with audio to HDMI locally and transmit the signal up to 600ft. This feature sets it apart from other products in the market. The source selection is made easy with the buttons on the wall plate, DXB-8 1 gang 8 button panel, or remotely via RS-232 commands sent through the matching receiver device.

Key features of the DXW-2 include 1 HDMI input with audio for DVI, 1 VGA with audio converted to HDMI, programmable buttons for control of displays, HDBaseT 600ft extension, and an IR receiver with a 40ft range. It also offers auto sense, buttons, RS-232 for source selection, and buttons backlight in red, green, and blue. The unit is HDCP compliant, can be powered remotely or locally, and fits in a standard 2 gang outlet box with a Decora style wall plate.

The DXE-CAT-RX3 extender, on the other hand, receives HDMI up to 600ft (183m) and features a 2x35 Watt amplifier. It also offers differential line input/output for audio mixing & HDMI audio de-embedding, volume control, and audio functions remotely controlled via transmitter unit or optional IP. The extender also features bi-directional RS-232 & IR & LAN, two relays for screen control, and rear-mounted connectors for a clean installation.

The DXE-CAT-RX3 Series is part of the growing Digital Xtreme Series, offering more than just a typical CAT extender. It breaks the price barrier while offering superior features and usability. The built-in relays are perfect for screen control, and the audio amplifier versions will fill the room with sound when used with the Aurora SKR-22T 360-degree sound field ceiling tile speaker.

With HDBaseT technology, the DXE-CAT operates up to 330ft 1080p 60Hz 48bit color depth, 500ft 1080p 60Hz 24bit (CAT 6), or 600ft 1080p 60Hz 24bit (CAT 6A Shielded) depending on the transmitter model. The RS-232, IR & LAN can be sent over the same cable bi-directionally, making this product a highly integrated solution for rolling carts, podiums, and credenzas.
