When purchasing these, pay attention to the specs. Only 4 of these ports provide PoE. Other than that, it does exactly what it says it will, and it does it well!

5 Port POE Switch Review

Packaging: Good package, well protected, instructions and product secure. Installation: Easy to setup, working in 5 min once I figured out the cable management. Mounting: Ability to mount vertically, although the instructions showed a different mounting technique (screws not bracket) perhaps it was for a different product, not an issue but odd. Product: Good, as advertised. Works great. No heat generated that I could tell. LEDs let you know when it is on and plugged in. My Amcrest 4MP Security Camera worked great with this product. Ideas for Improvement: PS and 120VAC Cord overpower the product in size and weight, if there was a smaller and lighter option that would be great.

Worked great for 4 IP Cams

I used this hub in a log cabin and was able to tuck this very small POE hub in tight between the logs. Plenty of power for all 4 cameras.

The Active PoE Switch allows for PoE power when an Ethernet cord is connected to the Switch. Generating up to 58W, the PoE Switch supplies remote power for products such as wireless access points, Amcrest IP cameras and videophones.

The Amcrest AMPS5E4P-AT-58 is a layer-2 PoE Ethernet switch. It can reach lightning protection level 3. The device can support up to 2 IEEE802.3at or 4 IEEE802.3af PDs (The total PoE power is 58W). In order to acquire smooth monitoring, it's recommended to connect max 4 IP cameras at a bit rate of less.
