Very good. Could be great with auto-shutoff and integrated turntable power outlet
This product could be great with two added features: 1.Automatic power off after a certain period of time. I mean this is just basic good environmentalism. Turning the unit off via the remote it not that intuitive since there is no indication that it is on when in standby mode. 2. An outlet in the back of the unit to plug the turntable into. This would help with cable management and I seem to recall was a fairly standard feature of stereo amplifiers prior to the digital sound era.

Overall a great system
Overall a great system. Appreciated the included audio cable I used for the sub. Only complaint is it's not loud enough. 5 star quality and sound though!

The Most Bang for Your Buck
I am just starting to get into Vinyl. After all the research that I've done, I thought I'd have to spend thousands and thousands to get a decent set-up. The SpinBase 2 allows me to have a QUALITY all-in-one speaker for an affordable cost. I am super grateful for Andover for coming up with this idea. My vinyls sound great. You can hear the quality in it. It's definitely worth it and you feel like you got the most bang for you buck.

Best customer service I ever received
I received a random advertising email from "Bob Hazelwood" and I figured it was just one of those mass emails that slaps an important company leader's name on it to make it look more legit. I actually responded to that email to complain about an issue with the sound on my Spinbase 2 that I have been unable to troubleshoot. Much to my surprise, I got an email back from the actual "Bob Hazelwood". He seemed genuinely concerned about my problem and promised to help. Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm receiving a set of cables for connection between my Spinbase 2 and Fluance RT85 turntable and it 100% fixed my issue. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service from everyone at the Andover team that made sure I received the help I needed. Fantastic service and product

Really like the sound quality
Really like the sound quality. Remote feature is awesome. Plenty of volume and bass. And can hear uniformly in front of it. Have a turntable with a preamp built in and can't shut it off. So the phono input is not going to get used. Would have liked to connect a CD player too so deducting one star, but that's minor and would definitely purchase again even knowing that now.

So incredibly impressed
After discovering Andover by chance whilst searching for a speaker that a record player could sit on, I couldn't be more happy with the product and overall experience. As this is quite a high ticket item for me, before ordering I had a few exchanges with support asking questions about it's capabilities and they always responded within 24 hours (usually same day monday-friday). This only made me even more sure of my decision to purchase. Once the order arrived, it was easy to assemble and pretty much "plug and play". No app needed, all set up and ready to go which I loved! Sounds amazing with decent bass (and a sub woofer can be added if you want) and NO SKIPPING!! I have already suggested my friends and family who are interested in records to have a look into Andover themselves. Thank you team, very happy with this experience :)

SpinBase 2 Review June 10,2025
Totally enjoy the SpinBase 2 at this point. Have listened to CD's, Bluetooth streaming and connected to a previously purchased subwoofer for outstanding bass reproduction. Due to a stylus issue have not tried to listen to records as yet. But hopefully when the new stylus arrives I will be enjoying playing my old 45's & LP's as well. A great product at an affordable price point. Would highly recommend wishing to get back to vinyl.

Very good!
I'm a fan of this product. I've always been confused about all the wires and speakers and boxes. This all in one product minimizes complexity and still sounds good. I am not an audiophile, so I can't speak for that community. I just like bands and records and music and the activity of physical music. I also really like sleek and minimal design and this baby really takes the cake on minimalism. Looks awesome in our living room. We have it set up on a big "credenza" and it looks great. I'm excited to show it off to guests. Also the Bluetooth works so it's awesome to have a really nice and loud and high quality Bluetooth speaker for when I wanna listen to new stuff.

Almost Perfect
I love this speaker. It sounds great and fits perfectly for my small vinyl setup. I love how I can be anywhere in the room/off angle and it still sounds great. I am on my second version of this speaker. The first had a hum to the speaker that was a little bothersome but I was able to switch it out easily to a different one where the hum, while present still (nature of phono setting) is definitely softer and cannot hear it when playing music. What I wish this speaker had is the ability to airplay/google cast. While the speaker has bluetooth functionality that sounds great, I don't want everything that I play on my phone to be sent to the Spinbase. I ended up buying a network streamer/DAC that I can airplay to to solve this issue. Pros: Sounds great and is a great solution for those not wanting to purchase many separate components Cons: no airplay/google cast so some may not see it as a complete "all in one" device Overall: still giving it 5 stars and would easily recommend it.

Perfect for my small room
The SpinBase 2 Powered Turntable Speaker is the perfect footprint and aesthetic for any smaller space. It completely unclutters the setup, and delivers more than enough power and clarity across the soundstage. The controls are easy and intuitive to use, and I appreciate the near instant startup I can get with my all analog setup.

Just what I needed for a smaller space. Much louder and richer than I was expecting. I considered the max but thought I'd rather buy speakers so the spinbase 2 is perfect! Fit and finish is spot on!! Remote is too!
