It features RJ-45 connectors and utilizes Cat5e/6 cable to link to the computers, ensuring high-quality signals can travel up to 50m without the need for KVM extenders.

The KH1516Ai supports multiplatform operation, allowing any combination of PCs, Macs, Sun computers, and serial devices to coexist on the installation. It provides console ports for a locally attached USB or PS/2 console and a Laptop USB console (LUC), enabling access and control from both the data center and over the Net.
