While the KH2508A and KH2516A KVM switches are powerful control units, they offer IT administrators the ability to access and manage multiple computers from two PS/2 or USB KVM consoles. These high-density KVM switches allow operators at two consoles to independently and simultaneously control up to 8 or 16 computers, respectively. With the capability to daisy chain up to 15 additional switches, these units can control as many as 256 computers from the original KVM consoles, making them an ideal solution for server room and data center management.

The advanced Adapter ID feature, for instance, stores the Adapter Cable's configuration information, such as its ID, port name, OS, and keyboard language.
