With the capability to daisy chain up to 15 additional switches, these units can control as many as 256 computers from the original KVM consoles, making them an ideal solution for server room and data center management.These KVM switches are equipped with unique features that simplify server room management. The advanced Adapter ID feature, for instance, stores the Adapter Cable's configuration information, such as its ID, port name, OS, and keyboard language. This allows administrators to move servers to different ports without the need to reconfigure the adapters, saving valuable time and effort.The KH2508A and KH2516A KVM switches also offer enhanced video quality, extending the distance to the servers to up to 50 m at a resolution of 1280 x 1024. This ensures clear, high-quality visuals even at a distance, improving the user experience.These KVM switches support a variety of port operation modes, including Occupy, Exclusive, and Share modes, offering flexible computer management. They also offer three port selection methods: Manual (via front panel pushbuttons), Hotkey, and multi-language OSD (On Screen Display), catering to different user preferences.With support for multiple user accounts, these switches can accommodate up to 10 user and 1 administrator accounts.
