Good fan, doesn't last

Plug it into my laptop almost every time I use the laptop. It seems to calm the internal fan quite a bit. This is the 3rd time I have purchased this fan. I dropped the first one and it became very noisy/out of balance. The second one was poorly assembled and the wire broke right at the usb connector. I was able to solder it and get it to work for a bit but eventually the bandaid broke. Hopefully this one lasts. I like the fan, use it all the time and for the price think it saves a lot of wear and tear on the laptop.
