Aten VM1616T 16x16 Cat 5e/6 Audio/Video Matrix Switch

This Matrix Switch is designed to route and distribute audio, video, and RS-232 signals over distances up to 300m, supporting a video resolution of 1920 x 1200.

The VM1616T is capable of receiving data from up to 16 audio/video sources and transmitting to up to 16+1 audio/video displays. It offers multiple ways to access and control source devices, including local access via front panel pushbuttons and an RS-232/ RS-485/RS-422 serial port, and remote access over the Internet through a browser-based web page interface.

This Media Matrix Solution is the perfect solution for environments that require long-distance A/V output, versatility, and security, such as casinos, transportation and logistics centers, traffic control centers, port security facilities, and industrial supervision settings.

The VM1616T connects any of 16 Cat 5 A/V inputs to any of 16 Cat 5 A/V outputs in combination with the ATEN VE500/VE300 A/V Over Cat 5 Extender system. It supports a long signal range, easily switches between multiple sources and displays, and supports an additional local display.

The built-in bi-directional RS-232 serial port allows for high-end system control. The VM1616T supports video quality up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz; DDC2B, stereo and balanced audio, automatic and adjustable video quality, and independent switching of audio and video sources.

The firmware is upgradeable and the unit is rack-mountable for convenience. The Media Matrix Solutions offer easy configuration and control, boosting management efficiency with support for over IP connectivity.

The VM1616T provides independent routing of audio and video sources, serial connectivity, and bi-directional serial control. ATEN's patented Deskew technology ensures exceptional video quality over long distances.

The use of RJ-45 connectors and Cat 5e cable for connecting transmitters and receivers allows for flexible deployment of your devices up to 300m from the switch. The VM1616T also supports superior balanced audio quality for the highest quality audio experience.
