The Aputure NOVA II 1x1 is a next-generation full-color LED panel designed to redefine what a compact professional lighting fixture can achieve.
Building on the legacy of the Nova P300c, the NOVA II 1x1 delivers more than twice the diffused output and greater creative control than its predecessor, all within a rugged, IP65-rated housing engineered for the most demanding film, television, and broadcast environments.
Incredibly Accurate and Natural White Light
At its core lies Aputure’s advanced BLAIR-CG color engine, a seven-diode architecture combining Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green emitters. This design achieves exceptional spectral accuracy and natural color reproduction across an expansive 1,800K–20,000K CCT range, with full ASC MITC ±G green-magenta control.
The result is a light that offers unmatched flexibility for fine-tuning white balance, matching practical sources, or achieving consistent skin tone reproduction in any lighting environment.
Colors Never Before Achieved in a Panel
The expanded BLAIR-CG light engine covers more than 90% of the Rec.2020 color space. There are four blues and two reds, including Extended Red, for increased gamut and saturation. Using x,y and HSIC+ modes, dial in precise colors to match products, create backdrops, and even dial in perfect greenscreen or bluescreen keys to match your camera’s sensor.
The Brightest Light, Direct or Diffused
The NOVA II 1x1 delivers a direct 35° beam, which remains bright when diffused, providing increased versatility.
The secret to this performance is a unique three-part “focus-then-blend” optical formula.
Weatherproof, Quiet, Lightweight: Pick All Three
The advanced structural design of the NOVA II 1x1 allows it to achieve three goals normally at odds: low noise, low weight, and IP65 weather protection. The NOVA II 1x1 panel is IP65 weather protected, has fan noise below 40dB in high speed mode, and weighs 11.35kg including the yoke.
QuickClip Modifier System
Designed with versatility in mind, the NOVA II 1x1 introduces Aputure’s QuickClip front mounting accessory ecosystem, streamlining the process of attaching modifiers directly to the fixture without traditional slide-in frames.
