The amaran PT2c is a 2-foot battery-powered pixel tube that is part of amaran's first-ever full-color LED pixel tube series. For greater control and color chasing capabilities, the PT2c features 8 built-in pixels that can be independently adjusted via the Sidus Link app and 7 pre-programmed Pixel FX for a variety of scenarios, in addition to 9 System FX.

As a full-color fixture, the PT2c's RGBWW LED chipset produces stellar color quality and accurate skin tones throughout its CCT range of 2,700K to 10,000K with full green-magenta control, achieving high CRI [95], TLCI [98], and SSI values across the board, with an SSI (Tungsten) of 85 and SSI (D56) of 75.

Inside its sleek T12 form factor, the PT2c is powered by a 38.5Wh internal lithium-ion battery for up to 170 minutes of maximum output. By utilizing a ubiquitous USB-C port, the PT2c can be easily charged, and can even fast charge at 20W using USB-C PD to reach full capacity in under 3 hours.

Complementing its simple design, each PT2c comes with two clear, 3/8- 16in threaded magnetic T12 brackets to make mounting as easy as possible. Use the magnets to attach the pixel tube to ferromagnetic surfaces or add a 3/8-16in spigot or baby pin to mount it to a light stand. The clear design of the brackets ensure that the mounting solutions do not interfere with the quality or output of the light.

The PT2c can be controlled from the new interface on the back of the tube, featuring the latest UI, or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app that powers the rest of the Aputure and amaran product lines. This ultracapable application can control all the lights in the scene, activate stunning lighting effects, and ensure that the Pixel Tubes are always up to date.
