Terrible service, was made to pay by bank transfer as they couldn't take my business card for some reason. Have now lost my money and after two weeks cannot give me an answer as to where it is. Do not buy directly and ideally not APC.

Easy replacement; only took 5 minutes. Popped off the battery cover, unplugged the old battery, & then dropped the new battery in and connected.

Getting a replacement battery was easy. The one thing that would have made my experience with APC better would be if they hadn't deleted my customer order history. Unfortunately customer service and tech support could not restore my 20+ years of history of using APC products. I have used the Trade-Ups program in the past as need for computing power has increased, without record of that order history Trade-Ups does not work.

The battery plugged right in with no fuss. I would be nice if there was a return label to recycle the old battery. I have tried non-APC batts or clones and I'm lucky to get 12 months out of them- so thank you for making quality replacements available for such an old UPS model (1500 RS). More than 10 yrs old and works like day 1.

The process wasn't without its challenges. The initial battery arrived damaged; manufacturing defect. Called APC for return authorization and a replacement. Second battery arrived promptly and undamaged. Used return label provided by APC and taken to UPS. Received email from APC that battery not received. Provided proof of delivery and issue closed. Process from beginning to end required more time than expected. Uncertain what would have happened if I didn't have proof of delivery. Keep all records, emails, and notes.

After 5 or 6 years of constant duty my Nº 33 Battery called it quits, amazing that it lasted that long. Panic insued. Thinking that the actual unit was now probably 12 years old and guessing that replacement batteries might no longer exist, I quickly searched the net and happily found my thinking incorrect. I ordered the repalcement, it arrived a few days later. After reading the included info I found the free recycling process, repacked using the original shipping box and dropped it off at my nearest UPS shipping store. Quick and simple. I'm back in business with my backup battery.

The battery failed 3 and 1/2 years after last replacement. Purchased a new one and it arrived fast and works well. Happy with purchase and short delivery time.

I purchased several e-bay and non-APC brand batteries. Some would last 3 years, others would fail after the first month or so. Most, and I mean MOST of them would come in looking scratched, damaged and used. The packaging was the first give-away, it was always shoddy, with crumpled polystyrene broken and placed around the batteries with NO protection on the leads. This happened several times! I have NEVER had a problem with batteries that come directly from APC. They are always packaged appropriately with protection on the leads and looking new and unused. I will never buy after market batteries again!

The battery that I replaced lasted me more than twice the expected time. I assume the replacement will be reliable for at least its expected lifetime. My local utility often provided varying voltage and frequent momentary blackouts, especially in summer. I am confident my APC UPS protected my attached computer,router and other electronics from damage.

My Back UPS XS1500G did not have a pigtail cable as pictured. Instead, it has a separator that has contacts in it that engage as you slide the battery into the compartment. I just removed the old batteries from that separator, and put the new batteries from this battery pack on it in the same way, taping with packing tape. It works fine. As another reviewer noted, the pigtail may not be right for your XS1500. The model number on mine is XS1500G. Pic attached is the old pack before I cut it apart.

My APC RS-1500 has proven to be a must during a few events, thunder storm and others. Battery needed to be replaced. Online order, quick delivery, back to safety! :-)

I love my BackUPS XS 1500. It powers my workstation, my server and some network gear. UPS self test failed several times and recommended replacing the battery. Ordered it and received the exact model. Replacing it was easy. Once connected, ran a self test, passed, and the UPS prompted me to enter the battery replacement date. That was it. All data was reset and the new runtime displayed.

I replaced the old battery with this one and I am continuing to get the right stuff. No power fluctuating or power spikes, smooth reliable power with my UPS 1200.

The only problem i had was trying to remove the old battery from the unit. The old battery had expanded lenghtwise due to it expiring. No problems with inserting the new battery into the unit.

This is my fourth battery buy from APC. I run machines on two UPSs. This battery replacement arrived on time and in good shape. I like the return policy. Solves the problem of what to do with the dead battery. I trust APC, have had no issues with either the control devices or the batteries. Solid goods.

Perhaps not the least expensive method of replacing the batteries in your UPS, but certainly the easiest and quickest. It also provides a safe and easy (free) way to recycle the old batteries. Highly recommended.

I ordered the battery cartridge, it came in a very timely manner and was exactly what I needed. My old UPS is now NEW again!
