I needed a replacement battery for my APC Smart-UPS 700. The site was easy to navigate and the online chat pointed me to the battery I needed. They even printed me a return label so I could properly recycle my old battery for free.

We had a couple of customers with APC Smart UPS units that had the RBC5 as the battery replacement. These batteries were like clockwork - would get you about 3 years per battery before they needed to be replaced. Good investment to change the battery a couple of times and extend the life of a still-useful UPS.

I have relied on APC for many years of uninterrupted service. The only time I notice the units are when they need new batteries. I have tried other batteries from cheaper resources, however, they either don't work or don't last as long as the those from APC. Keep up the good work. A simpler way to recycle the spent batteries would be a nice addition to your services.

My original battery lasted about 4 years. It was easy to determine the correct replacement unit and simple to order it. Delivery was prompt and installation was simple following the clear instructions that were provided.

I ordered two different batteries for two different UPS (different models). With in a week both UPS where warning of the need to replace the battery. I have a number of other APC units throughout the house with out any issue. Maybe I got a batch of bad batteries, but this round of replacements was worthless. Also, APC used to take back the old batteries (sent prepaid return shipping labels and all). This doesn't seem to be the case any more.

The APC hardware is great, but they never answer an email and this leaves basic questions unanswered, like why does the battery time field in the software remain blank when a new battery is installed, and how can it be fixed?

One of our SU700NETs had the replace battery indicator on. We replaced the battery. The indicator is out. The runtime is back to 17+ minutes.

My APC SmartUps is 17+ years old. Every few years, I have to buy a replacement battery. I know APC suggests that I replace my unit. However, I know the replacement will not last 17 years. Until the old one dies, I'll keep on buying batteries. APC can't complain. They are still getting some money. It's a win-win for all.

Easy to replace the old battery! I live out in county and take a lot of power hits,usually due to storms w lots of lightening! Doing homework on line cannot afford to lose power! Very happy with UPS Backup! Also liked the idea of being able to send in old battery for recycle! Strongly recommend this product!

Selecting the correct battery for my UPS couldn't have been easier. Quick removal of old battery and insertion of new one was easy. The battery may be slightly cheaper on other web sites but having an easy way of recycling the old battery was what made me buy this battery from APC.

If you haven't ever replaced a battery pack for an APC ups unit, because you had to mail order the part, but bought a new unit instead, You may be wasting money. The process is a snap and includes simple no hassle no cost method to recycle the old batteries.

I purchased an APC SU700NET almost ten years ago. In that time I've replaced the batteries only three times (most recent replacement was June 2011). The most-recently-replaced batteries lasted 57 months! I've used APC batteries exclusively and never had a problem with them.

There are few other places which offer compatible replacement batteries for my old BX900R, fewer still who are trustworthy. I actually found a better unit price elsewhere, but with their shipping the total was the same as APC's. Lacking any significant difference, the obvious choice was APC, to be sure of compatibility. The battery arrived a little sooner than expected and is currently performing flawlessly.

I was disappointed to find that my purchase did not include a return shipping label for recycling our old batteries. Other vendors I've used in the past included this. I won't buy direct from APC next time.

My previous battery lasted 5 years so when it came time to replace, I puchased a geniune APC replacement. Less than 24 hours after it was installed, the electricity when off. It worked like a champ.

The battery is very easy to change. They seem to last about 3 years in length, as we purchased one 3 years 2 days before we had to buy this battery because of the beeping warning of a battery starting to fail.

The battery would not charge. APC sent a whole replacement unit and it would not charge properly. They sent a second unit and it would not work properly. I'm on the third battery back up and it too has problems. It will not fully charge and stalls at 98%. It is indicating that the battery has been charging for over 5 days straight and it will not fully charge. The runtime on it has dropped from 45 minutes to 21. I may find another type of battery for my future purchases. This has been a bad experience all around.

One of our Smart-UPS 700's began to have a "replace battery" alarm. Ordered a new battery. Swapped batteries. Used the return shipping label to send the old battery back for recycling. This fits the list of items that we want from our battery backups: Relaible and Easy to Service.
