The APC Replacement Battery Cartridge was of course, a perfect fit, and I prefer to use OEM parts when I can.

This replacement battery was received with a week of the date I ordered from APC. Took about 10 to 15 minutes to swap out the batteries and go through the startup checks. So far so good. Battery has been installed for about 2 weeks.

Our location experiences power sags and surges. We have three SmartUPS 1500VA units to protect electronics and computer systems. This purchase was made to replace the battery in our oldest unit. Its battery provided about 5 years of highly dependable low-load protection. Over that time, it progressed to a rapid discharge state, thus requiring replacement. Another UPS will need battery replacement soon (about 4 years on it). Installation was routine. Periodic battery replacements are routine maintenance requirements for these units. In our circumstances, we see 5 years of service on them, possibly a bit longer. (Of note, per Schneider/APC, these are to be replaced every 5 years, even if no fault is shown.) I prefer the genuine article purchased directly from Schneider/APC to any generic substitute. Quick shipping and well packaged, received without damage. Functions as required.

Battery was bad upon arrival. System stated that it needed to be replaced as soon as I installed it. It also would not completely charge. APC would not replace.

APC still "relatively" easy to deal with, though harder than in the past. It was very difficult to match my existing Smart UPS to the correct battery, I had to finally call them. That was more difficult that it should have been. The battery arrived as scheduled, with a small stain on top. However, APC said that should not be an issue thru a chat. I replaced it and it appears all is well. UPS back to running just fine

No issues. Easy to replace the current battery. The battery came charged to 75% so the UPS was ready to go as soon as the battery was replaced. Appreciate the return shipping to dispose of the old battery.

My previous battery died, so I bought this as replacement for my UPS. I installed it, turned the device on, and - voilà! Power backup! I haven't seen it since, so I'm not sure how it's doing, but the self tests do not raise alarms. My assumption is that the battery is doing what a battery is supposed to do. However, APC sent me TWO emails now to review their - wait for it - battery, and the only review that would make sense is a longevity assessment. Well, this battery is absolutely perfect during its first three weeks on duty.

We use this often to replace dead batteries in APC UPS'. never had an issue. These are quite a bit more expensive than the non-OEM replacement batteries but is probably worth the $$$ cost to avoid a potential compatibility headache.

I use this in 4 or 5 APC UPS units. The units start to chirp very loudly when the battery fails. I can't turn off the chirping so have to unprotect those devices and turn off the APC while I order a replacement battery which takes a week sometimes.

We've sold & installed many of these and they're good to go once you pop them into your existing UPS. Have heard of people having issues with the non-OEM batteries - glad to use the APC-version for peace of mind.
