These lights are essential for flexible filmmaking.  With the Sidus app you can remotely control them and choose nearly any color to light your scene!  I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Essential lighting tool for filmmaking

Although certainly not the highest quality lighting instruments out there, Aputure usually puts together very capable products, and although these units are very capable this kit borders on the ridiculous. Why not put everything into just one case, incorporate the power supply into that case, and then provide accessories for ALL (4) of the units? This kit doesn?t make much practical sense and the cherry on top is that you?ll be paying more than if you purchased (4) units separately (where you would actually get accessories for all four fixtures).

Car shoot

These little lights are great... have an old monitor platform with a 5/8ths mount and the magnets on these light grip on this and  can create a quick portable soft light. Just lit an indie film and created a hair light by attaching two MC's to an overhead AC duct...very useful as accent lights.

A solid product. Aputure does not cut corners in design and reliability. I think I may purchase a few more of these soon.

These things are amazing! Powerful, small, portable, magnetic, versatile. These suckers are a game changer! And throw enough light out to even shoot a one person interview. I would recommend a thousand times over.

very interesting lighting kit. Look forward using it on a real set. The charging case feels very well designed. Wish the bag is more rigid so that it's easier to organize things inside

Brighter than I expected.  Seamless use with the app.  At least so far.

Good product

It was a little smaller than I expected but good things come in small packages. Once I realized the ease of these LED’s and how handy they are I was happy. It’s also nice to impress the DP and have him asking for them regularly as well.

Very handy

Unreal how useful these are. Just amazing. I can't believe I lived so long without something like this. Only issue is now I need like 100 to use for everything. Luckily it's the same price for three cases of 4 as it is for one case of 12. So I can keep them separated and not have to lug a bigger case around.

Where have you been all my life?

Still late with shipping but I like those lights a lot especially because they are magnetic just be careful because the battery is only for two hours but enough to lit a scene with any color and effect possible

Super lights

Great kit, super portable.  Works nicely for color and fills,  app is nice as well. although not strong enough to be a key light. because they are magnetic i was able to just slap these on the c-stands and other items to get targeted fills. Only complaint is the battery life is only about 3 hours and they died towards the end of an event. in hindsight i might have bought the larger kit so i have swaps!

multi color to go!

I’ve used these lights for several paid gigs and love them. Specifically, I’ve used them as accent lights in the background for cooking shows and to add atmosphere to “hero” food shots while on set and they go great with my Aputure 300D2. 

They last a long time, the charging case is definitely worth the little bit extra, and the app control makes these things a no brainer. The only bad thing is I wish it came with 4 diffusers, not 2. But, that’s a pretty small gripe. Overall, would buy it again. Hands down.

Small, Practical and Mostly Perfect

Like the lights. The interface is fairly easy to navigate. The charging options are great. Note there are two things carry for full use (accessory bag) but a quick single use only needs the pictured case to go with.

Great compact multiple light system

Neat product. Good build. Lights are great..

I wished everything fit into one case (there is a case and a pouch). It only comes with 2 diffusers, not 4. Uses a huge power brick rather than a type C USB to charge.

Close to awesome

Having 4 of the Aputure MC lights in a nice travel case that also doubles as a wireless charger is just AWESOME!!!

The case not only wirelessly charges all 4 lights at once, but also provides 2 additional USB ports for charging other items as well. This was well worth the wait. 

The Sidus Link application just puts this over the top with how easy it to control all of the lights individually or all at once.

I would definitely purchase again and also highly recommend!
