I now own (2) of these Model 1400PRO kit bags. Perfect for my Sony NEX VG10 kits. Tons of pockets & ultra adjustable interior with all of the velcro dividers. Great case at a bargin price!

The case is well constructed BUT it really needs to be larger to accommodate up to 6 lenses and several flash units. It would also be nice if it included more zipper pockets on the sides & back. Ape Cases also does not sell extra padded dividers. I'll make it work for now until I can find the right shoulder bag that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Then it'll be off to ebay. Sorry! Can't recommend it.

The Ape Case Pro Digital SLR bag is rugged and roomy. I carry my DSLR with a 135mm lens attached as well as 2 spare lenses and still have room.

Comparable shoulder bags are priced 2wice higher. No-brainer value. Solid construction, materials, flexible roominess and high-contrast yellow interior makes finding gear easier/faster. (The only, small bias against, is I don't care for the prominent logo nameplate and prefer removing it).

I found this case to be better than expected. Seems durable and the inside is Velcro to custom fit to your needs:) The shoulder strap adjusts for your comfort. The durable handle is well placed for easy grab and go.

I'd outgrown the case I'd bought as a bundle with my Nikon DSLR. There's nothing worse than being in the field on assignment and not having a piece of gear left at home for lack of space. I knew I needed a larger bag, but I didn't want a huge bag. I needed to travel with it and not feel as if it was too cumbersome or dragging me down. After reading and watching some reviews on the large Ape Case for DSLRs, I bought it and haven't been disappointed at all. It holds everything I need for my Nikon D7200, including four lenses, a flash and soft box, filters, cables, cleaning materials a notebook, pens, business cards and spare batteries and SD cards. The interior is spacious, padded and well laid out. The four zip pockets are great for holding a wide variety of smaller items. The best part is that I still have room for more equipment without feeling as if I'm carrying a much larger camera bag. I gave the Ape Case a good test while on a recent assignment in the North Dakota Badlands. I carried it for two hours while hiking up and down steep terrain in a remote area. I always had the equipment I needed and never felt burdened by this case. It got dirty, but it cleaned up well. This is a great choice for a single DSLR system and all the gear that goes with it.

With a little thought, this bag does the job. It holds a Canon 80D with 18-135 mounted and a Canon 100-400. Both arranged vertically. The idea is to have a quick draw and it works. Both have lens shades NOT kept on their respective lenses. They are carried nested and take up the space of one lens. It has room for two more lenses and/or flash units with this arrangement. Plenty of dividers, with four left over. I like the one fastex-type buckle for open and closing quickly. Any bag that requires a zipper to open and close the bag is useless to me. Also, zippers are usually the first fastener to fail. I'm not a fan of looking stylish with a worthless metro-male messenger bag. Backpack bags may look cool, but take too long to access. This bag is durable with quick access and plenty of pockets for filters, etc. However, a water bottle pocket? Seriously? The notion of water or sports drink anywhere near camera equipment is foolish. I stuffed a a flapped accessory pocket into it to hold batteries. It is difficult to find a good-sized bag of this construction. Yes, it can carry a tripod. But a tripod of any value (stiffness) would be too heavy. It's more suitable for a good monopod. The curved shoulder strap can be a bit of an irritation. Everyone has their preferences. The cons are really minor. It actually is a well made bag that fits most of my needs.

Apecase bags are very well constructed and the yellow interior helps to be able to see inside. Better than black holding black items. The only problem is with the size. This bag is said to be large but I guess I need GIANT. Does not hold my L series 70-300 combined with other average sized items. No one makes a case of any kind to hold that lens because of its diameter. Apecase should make one because their quality is good.

Just amazing. Has all the room you need 3 lens plus Filters. Cleaning stuff and the yellow inside make for easy viewing . Plus i have mic led light . 2 charges with 3 batteries. And so much more. .the shoulder strap is really nice has a natural curve on the strap so it will not slide of . The price is well below .

My only view of this bag prior to ordering it was the picture in the ad. I thought it was larger than it was. I was slightly disappointed at the size when I received it since I wanted a bad large enough for 2 camera bodies, several lenses and all the additional equipment that photographers accumulate.

I am a nature photographer always looking for back ups. I can put at 7D Mark II with 300mm lens, back ups SX 60, flash and assorted batteries in the bag and it carries well. Seems to be sturdy and well made.

Completely disappointed. Held ONE camera and ONE lens. Never mind my tele lens or my micro! Returned asap. Apparently reviewers only have small cameras. Definitely NOT for the professional photog!

Read reviews and got the bag. It ONLY holds ONE basic SLR and it barely holds on lens. We have 2 cameras, 2 lenses PLUS a telescopic lens. Does NOT hold anything but ONE camera. Complete and utter disappointment. Apparently those who review consider an Iphone a camera.

This is a good case. It's as roomy as advertised. I have a Canon 6-D, with a 70-200, & a few more lenses. Also batteries, filters & a couple of other things. All fit well. The case material & straps feel well made. I'm glad I got it.

I recently put a battery grip on my Nikon D750 which makes for a tight fit in the camera bags that I have already. I needed a case that could accommodate my newly wider camera, a couple of lenses and accessories. I can do that now with this bag and a couple of minor changes to the way the camera bag was configured. Now, I can carry my D750 with the grip and a Tamron 24-70 zoom attached, as well as my Nikkor 50mm, 60mm, and my Tamron 70-300. I also have room for a flash a remote and a trigger, a cleaning kit, SD wallet in the main compartment In the side pockets I have batteries, business cards and other accessories. Enough stuff for an all day shoot out of the back of my car. Everything fits pretty snug, and it doesn't seem as though anything is moving around when I transport the bag around. The bag feels pretty sturdy, and the zippers seem to be working very well so far. Now the things that I noticed about the bag that just fall a little short in performance..... First of all, the bag is almost not wide enough to fit my D750...it is real snug. It takes quite an effort to pry my camera out of the bag. Holds 2 cameras?.....yes and no. With my D750 with the Tamron 24-70 attached on one side, I tried putting my D5100 on the other side with my Nikkor 50mm 1.8 attached...the lens caps banged against each other. Maybe 2 cameras with 2 short lenses attached (which makes absolutely no sense to me) would work. Or possibly the second camera without a lens. For now, I just keep my 70-300 in the compartment on the other side. Shoulder strap.... The stock one is terrible. Buy a better one, or take one off another bag that you are not using (that's what I did). If you have a camera with a good size lens attached, don't plan on storing any longer lenses in the middle compartment. The lenses have to fit under the attached lens...that is why I keep my 70-300 on the other side. I have my 60mm and 50mm in the middle compartment along with some accessories. (Flash is under the 70-300) In closing, I use different bags for different situations (I own like 5 different bags. This one bag isn't the "only bag that you will ever need", but it will be the bag you need in certain situations. It is built pretty well, and I like the way my camera is cradled in the bag (even though it is a very tight fit). I especially like that I can adjust the depth of the side pocket to fit my camera with a grip. All in all, it is a very good bag, and for that price, you really can't go wrong.

This is an awesome case! It is well made with lots of pockets to put stuff. My only gripe is that if you keep a lens on the camera, it limits the number of other lens/bodies you can fit.

I outgrew my medium size case and replaced it with this larger one. It's just the right size for my a6000 and 4 lenses. I also carry a point and shoot, large flash, batteries, etc.

This is a great case at an excellent price! Fit 2 Canon EOS bodies with 2 small zoom lenses, and a Hasselblad 500cm with 150mm lens. Lots of room for extra film, batteries, flash cards, etc. Very sturdy construction, I'm sure this bag will hold up for years! I definitely recommend this bag.

This is a very nice bag, the bright interior makes it easy to locate the equipment. I wish that the top was easier to flip open completely.

Just took a week-long photo shoot in Boston. The case performed well, was acceptable as a carryon, and held enough gear for every situation I encountered - two bodies, a few lenses, and miscellany.

This bag was purchased to replace a much smaller bag, and it gets a lot of use. Holds up very well, even when the handling gets a bit rough. It can hold a lot of gear, and it is easy to access the compartments as well. But if you decide to pack this bag to it's capacity, you will find it to be a bit tiring if you are going to carry it all day. Still, I consider this to be an excellent buy.

I really don't know who designed and manufactured this kind of bag, but this thing is strong as strong can be. I have mine since 2009 and I have used and misused this bag, but still it won't rip, break or puncture. Is this normal??? What impresses me the most is that I've carried two DSLR bodies, 4 lenses, two flash units, several CF cards, triggers, receivers, CD's and many cables without any hassle. No shoulder pain...nothing! To the doubters: I bought mine because of the positive reviews and those reviews weren't lying! Go and get yours...and thank me later.

ADORAMA REVIEW FOR APE BAG: 04-27-09I easily take [$] to as much as [$]in camera and lenses with me when ever I go out on a project. I’ve always felt that if the equipment is worth that much, then I’d be crazy to ‘get cheap’ about its protection, right? Well, I was looking at [$]bags when I kept reading about how everybody thought this bag was so great. I told myself that I’ll just buy the darn thing to prove to myself that you can’t buy good protection for under [$]and then I’ll just use it ...
