too short

I'm 5'5" and at this monopod's max length, its not high enough.

Great if used within limits

I use this with a6500 and RX10 - very sturdy and functional. I use a much heavier Manfrotto stick with my D600.

This monopod works great

I wanted something lightweight and easy to carry when I hike. This monopod is perfect for that as if fits in my backpack. I love using it instead of the heavier tripod.

Everyone needs one

It is light weight but not flimsy. I removed the single screw top and replaced it with one from a three legged tripod that lets the camera be tilted up and down, now it is perfect. They should sell it with that up grade

Lightweight and compact as advertised

I wanted a monopod for ease of travel and use -- for hiking, traveling, etc. This monopod fits the bill. It's lightweight, easy to use, easy to carry. it does not have a movable head, but I can just tilt the monopod as needed. It's probably too short for some people, but I love the short length when it's collapsed. It's enough to give me stability when I need it.

Just what I needed!

This lightweight monopod is used more often than the larger heavier (older) monopods I have been using. Especially usefull when photographing a school function like graduation, award ceremonies, plays, etc where it can be braced on the seat rather than the floor.

Best for my situation

I have a Canon ELPH and the is a perfect item for the zoom shots in stability. I like the firm feel when extended and locked.

Nice And Inexpensive

Light and easy to use, this simple little monopod is quite stable enough for shooting city street photography where it is small enough to fit in my bag. I have a much heavier duty one I use with my Nikon pro cameras, but this one is best for lighter equipment. Hey, for under fifteen bucks, you can't go wrong.

Almost perfect

As others described, not quite tall enough requiring bending to view back image. Best to leave camera on and use as walking stick/camera carrier combo.

Could Use One More Section

I knew from others that it was short so I will live with that but it would be really great if it had one more section.

nice product

I use it primarily at sporting events. It is sturdy and high quality for a low price. The down side: it is only 52" which is shorter than most adults.

Lightweight, convenient and simple

I am a real estate appraiser and use this monopod to get my camera into attics, past the insulation and into crawlspaces. I put my camera on a double shot timer, extend it into the tight space that I can't fit into and get those needed shots. I love the lighweight, compact size and carry case (I wear it like a sling) and how easy it is to use. I only have three downfalls to report.. I have knocked the rubber tip off the end and need to glue it back on, I have a bit of difficulty putting the monopod back into it's sheath when I'm done.. (difficult to juggle a camera, iPad and do this one handed.) I wish the screw fitting to attach the camera was at the skinny end and not the blunt end.. for my use, this means that the skinny end is what I am hanging onto and the fat end with the camera is being extended upwards or out... just makes it seem a little wobbly and weak to hang onto. But overall - it really does get the job done and I'm glad I ordered it. VERY happy with the ease of use and lightweight construction.
