I have several of these and they are my go-to lights now. I frequently use these alongside Arri Skypanels, and I actually like these better! The Aputure 300 is slightly brighter than the Arri S30, and putting a color meter on both, they are a very very close match. Durable lights too. After a few hundred hours of use with these, I can definitely recommend them.

Bright, not that heavy once out of the case and features new little tricks. The Nova 600 is a very bright panel light. It is wider and heavier than a Nova 300, which some might deem negative. Easy to operate with Sidus, there is virtually no difference in operation procedure. I especially enjoy the double lockoffs on opposing sides of the fixture.

This is my favorite light when setting up a scene. No matter what shoot I?m going on this nova travels with me. Weather is accent lighting on a wall or adding some kick to the key light this thing is very versatile.

So far so good. Everything works great, the image is sharp and I have been playing with the effects and the Sidas link since the arrived. I ordered 4 and they arrived 2 at a time. So if you?re thinking about getting some I?d go ahead and order them ahead of time. My company Frame 88 is well known in Atlanta for shooting Reality and I was skeptical about adding such a beefy light to the package, especially when needing a combo stand to operate it. Side note: GET THE CASE OR HAVE ONE AVAILABLE?. We just opened Frane 88 studios a 6000 square foot studio space, also in Atlanta, and I think I?m gonna get the to line our ?Cyc wall??

The best light panel. Great quality and price. It have a lot of great features. I leave them on my studio grid always and turn it on and off from my mobile app without having to use stairs for the 16? ceiling.

While it took a while to get the proper setup in my small studio, this light has proven to easily justify the cost - given the class of light it is - and the quality and range of what it provides. I have used it in multiple settings for a background light and it comes through whether a gell is appropriate, an HSI setting driven light is or a daylight look is needed. And many things in between. With the use of their Sidus app it makes the entirety of the light controllable on my iPad which is a boon unto itself. I love this light and it maybe one of the best investments I've made for my work as a broadcaster (amateur but for business, not gaming). Thank you Aputure. If you are buying it, put the order in asap because they sell out fast and take a lot of time to ultimately get delivered.
