Quality protection, gets the job done.
Gets the job done. It definitely lowers the coaxial signal strength on the filter, but it?s ok, performance was actually smoother in general because the signal levels were too high. Good protection!

Good outlet strip
Solid mount with long cord for easy placement. Allows horizontal or vertical mounting with good outlet layout for electrical cords, phone, and cable. Much better than same priced strips at hardware stores.

You'll definitely find a use for this power strip

Great. Fits all the different power supplies
It's perfect. It even fit some items I wasn't sure would fit. Allowed me to get everything plugged in directly without any extension cords for the odd size power supplies. I do not use the phone and/or cable connections.

Gives plenty of options for plugs!
This thing is fantastic if you have a combo of power bricks and two prong at your desk. We use these standard at our office as well as our customers due to the amount of protection options.

High quality well built but missing a feature
This line of SurgeArrest product are very well built and very reliable though this one is missing the ethernet protection so if you need that then you'll want to look at the unit that is a step up from this one. If that's not needed, then this will definitely serve you well. Recommended!

This for me is more then a power strip since it is clever in design and layout and has USB power as well. In addition it should protect your electronics from power surges. What I really like about this unit is that the way the outlets are positioned and spaced out, I am able to nearly all of them in a unit that has a very small footprint for 11 outlets.

Surge Arrest doing a great job!

House wiring fault light faulty
I may have been shipped a faulty unit. The red house wiring fault came on immediately, and then turned off. I checked the house wiring with a standard 3 prong wiring tester that shows any open connection. The house wiring was fine. After I finished installing the unit, I noticed that just tapping the body of the unit would turn the house wiring fault light on and off. This was independent of any motion on the plug into the wall.

too much/not enough
i am a return customer for an apc surge protector. the old one died on me. the new one has a lot of jingle jangle for phones, tv etc but is missing any outlets that remain on. my old surge protector had outlets that remained on when the unit is shut as well as a number of outlets that can be shut off. i find this essential for a home office and now forced to employ two devices for where there once was one.
new and improve? maybe not.
