Tripod was useless - get a stable Manfrotto 190 or 055 with a decent head - I have good equipment as a pro photographer.
Overall good value for the money. You can spend a fortune on this type of equipment but for most of us this will do the trick! Its not world-class optics but is exceptional value at 399.00
