I’m a hobbiest photographer and wanted multiple continuous light sources without having to invest too much. After going through a lot of YouTube reviews (most about this light being used for videos), I figured it should work for what I wanted to do. And I think it worked out pretty well! This is a photo I took with four Aputure M9 lights, one pointing at the background, one on either side diffused, and one in the front that was cross polarized.

I did not expect the light to be in such a small package and deliver the level of brightness that it does. I use it all the time now. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great light source, that is easy to carry around and very budget friendly.

Oh man, I bought this because I knew my rig would need a light eventually,but this really blew me out of the water. The first try I was able to get some really cool portrait shots against the sunset and with some stars in it even!

This is one POWERFUL tiny LED light, and I love using it already. It’s great for adding accent lighting, just a little extra to fill in the shadows, and it is also awesome for on the go nighttime shooting. Definitely would recommend!

These lights are powerful, compact and convenient. I can easily clip them on my bag with the included protective carrying case. They also come with a 2 colored gels to begin with that seamlessly clips behind the magnetic diffuser. These lights are perfect for accenting pieces in my background, and also works well for use as practical. This light is actually bright enough to key a subject in certain situations. I would recommend this light to any filmmaker / videographer as a must have in their arsenal. The affordability of this light is also a huge plus that wont break the bank yet add so much production value to your set.

Don’t let the size fool you, this light can be very bright at its highest setting. Can be use for video, main photography light on the go. Can be used as a filling light and if you want to light something in the background as well. I take this small light with me everywhere I go now. Highly recommend it.

Geeze, this thing is powerful. I was not expected it to be that bright and compact. And I mean compact! It's really tiny. I take this light everywhere I go. The only thing I'd warn you about is it's harsh. You definitely need to defuse it. It's got a soft, magnetized cover but it doesn't diffuse the light enough. Other than that, it's an amazing light.

I use this light all the time whenever I am out I always carry it with me! The only bad thing I see is it lacks a battery life indicator I might be being nitpicky but it is a great product even without it.

I attached the Aputure AL-M9 for my interview set ups when I'm running and gunning. It gives me plenty of fill to keep my subjects nice and smooth on camera. quick and light with a great punch for lighting during my interviews. Highly recommend it.
