I was a little hesitant about buying this light, but that all changed when I layed eyes on it. Solidly built, good rugged controls and takes the batteries I already have for my Sony 4K camera. You will like it too, I'm sure.

Solid light. You can't beat the price for what you get. I wish I knew there they're designed more to mount to a cold shoe than a light stand, but there's a simple solution to that. Overall, I'd say you can't get wrong with these lights. You can daisy chain them together. Their color is really good. I'm very happy with them.

This is a great light for the price. Used both on camera and on a light stand. Build quality is good. Having control of color temperature and being able to dim the light is a necessity! Very happy with this light.

Overall I really like this light. It throws out a more than sufficient amount of light for quick interviews and other situations where I'm dealing with lousy indoor lighting. My only complaint is the little plastic bracket that attaches the light to the shoe mount; it's really cheap. It broke shortly after I got it, and now I have to return it. I'll be super delicate with the replacement, so you should keep that in mind if you get this light. If you're looking for a good LED this is a great choice.

Solid build. Much better than I would expect for the price, but that's pretty typical of Aputure. I have their firestorm panel as well and it's a tank. I would like to have a readout of what light temp you're set to. The knob is okay, but you're just guessing ultimately. You could break out your lightmeter I suppose. Other than that it works well into my existing light kit.

This is a great light, mountable on camera, and which emits a very bright, adjustable directional lighting. The 6 double-AA batteries are a lot, though necessary for the lighting power. So far it'll run several hours before dimming & needing a recharge.

I've used this light on several different projects and I love it. Bright enough for corporate headshots, but natural looking on skin tone. thanks to the bi-color design you can blend two temps to get the perfect amount of light. Works great mounted on a shoulder rig, perfectly fills the subject with light. Good value.
