I like Aputure products and have a few lights. I had my eye on this monitor for a while, read reviews and decided go for it. Seeing it with my own eyes, I don't like the image on it. Maybe it's because I've used a similar quality monitor for so long that I feel the need to have something that provides a better picture in terms of brightness, sharpness and contrast. For a beginner, this could be a great first monitor. Maybe for a reference on a gimbal or something. But I was looking for something a little higher end, my mistake I should have known better at this price point. I also found that the audio pass through was a little distorted.

This external screen is worth getting, it is packed with many features I only wish the resolution was as good as what the camera puts out.

I was very impressed with this monitor, the features and the build quality, which is like a rubberized plastic.  The only issue I had was it crushes blacks.  No matter how I adjusted I could not get the picture to be accurate.  There was no way I could use it to show a client the video.  And even worse the false color feature went by the monitors levels, not the actual levels of the scene, as show when I took the video into a editing program and looked at the waveform monitor.  For the price, this a very good monitor, except for the one flaw.

Good buy, but one major flaw.

But certainly one of the best. I did a lot of research before buying this product, and the great reviews are no exagerration. Love it!
