I have large hands and difficulty finding gloves that fit. These are a nice fit, good value and easy to shoot in

I bought these gloves because I was not satisfied with the lack of warmth provided by the hunter's shooting gloves I had purchase based on suggestions at various photography forums. These are very nice. Not at all bulky and, with the neoprene they are surprisingly warm. The holes in the thumb and index finger pads are a little tight feeling on my fingers (not uncomfortably so) but I suppose, if they were looser, they would allow too much air to reach my fingers when they were retracted and my finger tips would be uncomfortably cold. There's very little I don't like about these gloves. The velcro on the wrist bands could be a bit more generous. As it is, there's barely enough flap for enough overlap of velcro to make a secure fit. Also, the bungee cords at the wrist are a bit confusing (I still don't know exactly what to make of them) and they, as such, they are extremely long - I could see getting accidentally snagged by something - and that has the potential of undesirable, even dangerous, outcome. All thinks considered, these have been a worthwhile purchase for me. I find that I wear them as my primary gloves for practically everything but shoveling snow on cold winter days.

In the dead of winter, photographers may not want to take their gloves off to operate their cameras’ external controls or touch-operated LCDs. Here's a handy guide to photographer-friendly gloves.
