Box came a bit dinged up but overall good. Paper performed as expected but needed to develop for longer than recommended on spec sheet in D76.

Still learning how to use this paper. Claims to be both OC and red light safe. Some fogging with the OC filter. Needs about one additional filter number to get the desired contrast I used to get with other papers. Appears that there has been a recent change in the emulsion across several paper suppliers I have used. Better than some recent experiences I have had with other brands. Still a good value for the price.

I tried this photopaper in the lab and outside in the sun. I am very pleased with my results: clarity, development times and other important factors exceeded my results. Good paper, I need more!

I liked the finish on this paper - it was easy to use, obvious which side is emulsion in darkroom. Worked well

An economical paper. Good DMax. Decent highlights. Works well with split grade printing and also works well with Polyphenol developers. And reasonably priced as well.

An exceptional choice for professional photographers and graphic designers, the Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper offers a versatile, high-quality solution for black and white photographic printing. This durable, medium-weight paper features a polyethylene coated base and is available in a variety of finishes, including Glossy, Semi-Matte, and Pearl.
Designed for use with tungsten or tungsten quartz halogen light sources, this paper allows for precise contrast control, ranging from grade 0 through grade 5. This is achieved by using standard Ilford Multigrade or Kodak Polymax/Polycontrast filters, or by adjusting the amount of magenta or yellow filters on an enlarger color head.
The Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper is straightforward to expose, with the speed rating (ISO P200) remaining consistent for Ilford Multigrade filters grades 00 - 3.5. Grades 4 through 5 require approximately twice the exposure, ensuring a wide range of contrast options for your prints.
This professional-grade paper should be handled in a photographic darkroom, illuminated by standard OC, red, or sodium vapor safelights, such as Thomas brand safelights. To prevent safelight fog, it's recommended to keep the safelights at least 3 feet from the paper and minimize exposure to safelights.
When it comes to processing, the Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper is compatible with either tray or roller transport processing machines. It can be developed in any standard black and white photographic paper developer, typically requiring a development time of 60 - 90 seconds at 68 Degree F/20 Degree C.
After development, a standard stop bath can be used to halt the process and extend fixer life. The paper can then be fixed in a standard fixing solution for 2-5 minutes at 68 Degree F/20 Degree C. Following fixing, prints should be washed in running water for 3-4 minutes.
For optimal preservation, store the paper in a cool, dry place. If necessary, it can be stored in a freezer for prolonged periods. In either case, allow sufficient time for warming up and prevent condensation from forming on the paper. Always return unused paper to its original packaging for storage, and keep it out of reach of harmful vapors and gases.
In summary, the Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper is a versatile, affordable, and high-quality choice for producing professional-grade black and white prints with excellent contrast and color accuracy.
