Box came a bit dinged up but overall good. Paper performed as expected but needed to develop for longer than recommended on spec sheet in D76.

Still learning how to use this paper. Claims to be both OC and red light safe. Some fogging with the OC filter. Needs about one additional filter number to get the desired contrast I used to get with other papers. Appears that there has been a recent change in the emulsion across several paper suppliers I have used. Better than some recent experiences I have had with other brands. Still a good value for the price.

I tried this photopaper in the lab and outside in the sun. I am very pleased with my results: clarity, development times and other important factors exceeded my results. Good paper, I need more!

I liked the finish on this paper - it was easy to use, obvious which side is emulsion in darkroom. Worked well

An economical paper. Good DMax. Decent highlights. Works well with split grade printing and also works well with Polyphenol developers. And reasonably priced as well.

Make the most of your photographic prints with Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper, a premium choice for enthusiasts and professionals alike who demand high-quality, durable, and versatile black and white enlarging paper. This medium-weight, polyethylene-coated paper ensures a professional finish with its glossy surface, perfect for capturing the depth and detail of your images.
The Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper offers exceptional contrast control, allowing you to adjust from grade 0 through grade 5 with ease, using standard Ilford Multigrade or Kodak Polymax/Polycontrast filters. The flexibility of contrast adjustments means you can achieve the exact look you desire, whether it's for artistic expression or precise reproduction.
Designed to work harmoniously with tungsten or tungsten quartz halogen light sources, this paper delivers consistent results that photographers can rely on. The exposure process remains straightforward, with grades 00 - 3.5 sharing the same speed rating (ISO P200), while grades 4 through 5 may require approximately twice the exposure for optimal clarity.
Handling this paper is a breeze in the appropriate darkroom conditions, illuminated by standard OC, red, or sodium vapor safelights. To maintain the integrity of your prints, ensure that safelights are at least 3 feet away and exposure to them is minimized.
Processing the Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper is compatible with both tray and roller transport processing machines, offering flexibility for your preferred development method. The paper should be developed using any standard black and white photographic paper developer for 60 - 90 seconds at 68°F/20°C, following the developer manufacturer's recommendations for best results.
After development, a standard stop bath should be used for at least 10 seconds to halt the process effectively and to help extend the fixer's life. Fixing should be completed within 2-5 minutes at the same temperature, ensuring your prints are stable and long-lasting.
Washing the fixed prints is simple, requiring only 3-4 minutes in running water without the need for hypo clearing agents or hypo eliminators. Store your Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper in a cool, dry place, or for extended preservation, in a freezer, always allowing time for the paper to acclimate to room temperature before use.
With a generous pack of 250 sheets, each measuring 5x7 inches, this glossy paper is not only affordable but also provides a substantial supply for your printing projects. Choose Arista.EDU Ultra VC RC Paper for its professional-grade quality and the ability to bring your black and white photography to life with stunning clarity and depth.
