While the Arista.EDU Ultra B&W Negative Film is a high-quality, professional-grade product, it's also versatile and affordable. This 8x10 inch, ISO 200 film is designed for use in cameras that utilize 120 film and is compatible with most enlargers. It's an ideal choice for photographers seeking to produce a large volume of prints without compromising on quality.
The Arista.EDU Ultra B&W film is compatible with all major processing systems, offering flexibility in your photographic process. It's recommended developing times are based on normal contrast negatives, with intermittent agitation, standardized for a temperature of 68 Degree F (20 Degree C). However, these times may vary based on your environment and equipment used, allowing for customization based on your specific needs.
This film can be developed using a variety of developers, including Arista 76 Powder, Arista Premium Powder, Arista Liquid Film Developer, Arista Premium Liquid Developer, Marathon Film Developer, Ilford ID-11, Kodak D-76, Kodak XTOL, Kodak TMAX Developer, Kodak HC 110, and Agfa Rodinal. The dilution ratios and developing times for each developer are provided, ensuring optimal results.
For the best results, it's recommended to agitate continuously for the first 30 seconds of development, followed by 5 to 7 inversion cycles for 5 seconds every 30 seconds for the remainder of the development time. If using a rotary processor with continuous agitation, the developing times should be reduced by 15%.
The Arista.EDU Ultra B&W Negative Film is not just a product, but a tool for photographers to capture and create stunning black and white imagery. It's a testament to Arista's commitment to providing durable, reliable, and high-performing photography products.
