Pure VCO power
Mix up to 4 different waveshapes and a sub-oscillator for added punch, alongside signal enhancers such as the Ultrasaw and Metalizer.

Steiner-Parker
Known for its bold, aggressive sound, the Steiner-Parker filter maintains a relatively strong signal even at high resonance settings allowing for a wide tonal range.

Brute factor
Go from smooth and gentle distortion to barely controllable, crazy feedback, with this iconic signal overdrive.

Envelope sliders
Harking back to classic synth models from the 1970s and 1980s, MiniBrute's envelope sliders have been faithfully recreated - precise and easy to use as ever.

Adjustable polyphony
Standing out among its single-VCO counterparts, MiniBrute V takes the monosynth power and ups the ante with 8-voices to play with - for lush chords and harmonics.

Unison
Another new feature not available in hardware is Unison. Engage to create huge mono sounds and add a detune effect.

Zoom in on the quick-fire workflow of MiniBrute V's interface, from familiar controls to retrofitted features.

Oscillator
waveshapes and a sub-oscillator for added depth, alongside signal enhancers such as the Ultrasaw and Metalizer. Ultrasaw amplitude and rate controls the intensity and speed of the ultrasaw effect on the sawtooth wave, adding thickness to the sound. The Metalizer applies a wavefolding effect to the triangle wave resulting in a distinctly metallic timbre.

Mixer
Use the oscillator mixer to control the blend of different oscillator sources including the sub-oscillator and noise generator

Steiner-Parker Filter
The brainchild of synth legend Yves Usson, the Steiner-Parker filter was introduced for its bold. aggressive sound and wide tonal range known to maintain a relatively strong signal even at high resonance settings. Use the Brute Factor to introduce drive or intermodulation distortion into the filter path.

Envelopes
Two full ADSR [Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release] envelopes are available on MiniBrute V, one controlling Filter and the other controlling Volume [Amplifier). The Filter Envelope can also be routed to modulate the Pulse Width of the Square wave, and the Metalizer amount.

Two LFOS
LF01 waveforms include a collection of sine, triangle, sawtooth, square, random stepped and random. gliding. The modulation amounts are bipolar towards 4 destinations PWM & Metalizer, Pitch, Filter, and Amplifier. This means you can really get creative and start, for example, modulating the Filter with a negative slope, while increasing the Pitch. LF02 controls vibrato, with adjustable rate and 3 different modes trill up, trill down and oscillating sine modulations.

Performance controls
Set Modwheel destination, as well as pitch bend range and glide amount.

Arpeggiator
Minibrute V's classic arpeggiator boasts a full set of features. From octave range, to play mode, and not to forget the swing control to change your groove on the fly.

Pitch & Modwheel
Create lively pitch-bends during your performance and use the Modwheel for immediate access to key modulations, which can be set to modulate either the Cutoff, Vibrato or control the general LFO amount.

Dispersion controls
Go under the hood of MiniBrute V and adjust dispersion levels across pitch, cutoff, gain. envelope and more. Great to make MiniBrute V's sound match with all different hardware revisions produced through the years, and reproduce the unpredictable character of analog circuitry.
