Pigments features a twin audio engine, letting you mix virtual analog and wavetable oscillators to create the perfect starting point for your patch. You can even morph wavetables or import your own
What you do next is up to you. Experiment with 3 envelopes, 3 LFOs and 3 function generators. Assign modulators to animate your sound and breathe life into it. Add controlled or totally wild random changes to any parameter with a Turing probability generator. Run it through 2 filters, with any combination of iconic analog filters or modern formant and surgeon filters you want. Process your patch with exciting contemporary effects like wavefolder and multifilter or vintage studio reverbs, delays and EQs.

Future Filters
This powerful synthesizer features twin morphing filters. Choose from 8 filters taken from legendary analog self-oscillating ladders to bleeding-edge modern options like surgeon, formant and comb. Refine your sound with variable filter routing for ultimate control of your sound.

Keyboard
The Keyboard panel gives you a quick access, on-screen MIDI keyboard to audition your sounds, as well as giving visual feedback on what Pigments is receiving from your controller or DAW.

3 Envelopes
A trio of hugely powerful, multi-parameter envelopes can be used statically or animated with modulations with any source or destination you desire.

3 LFOs
Three is the magic number and these fully customizable LFOs are ready to sync with and modulate any aspect of your sound you can imagine.

Customizable Functions
Create one-shot sub-sequences or endless looping animations with three editable Functions. Draw your animation, assign it to anything, Pigments makes advanced synthesis easy and fun.

Randomizers
If you want elements of your synth sound to have an exciting random or controlled random element, Pigments lets gives you tweakable Turing, binary and sample & hold random options to explore.

Twin Combinators
Choose a source parameter, choose a modulator, choose how you want them to interact and you've just made a new combinator. An amazing way to create experimental modulations that will keep your imagination running wild.

Stunning effects
When you've created a synth sound with ideal parameters, animated just the way you wanted it, it's time to add the finishing touches with some studio-grade effects. Pigments offers twin insert busses and a send bus, each one letting you choose and combine any 3 of the 13 effects to create a truly refined sound. You can even synchronize their parameters to your modulation.

What's the frequency?
Pigments features a Multifilter and Parametric EQ, letting you hone, carve out or boost particular frequencies.

Take control
Control peaks and fatten up your synth sound with a beautifully transparent Compressor.

Your synth is on fire
Dial up the heat with Distortion and Overdrive, turn your sound on its head with the Wavefolder or add some lo-fi glitch with the Bitcrusher.

Mod-master
Add anything from subtle width and juice to full-blown psychedelic madness with Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and Stereo Pan.

Time Traveller
Add some dimension to your sound with a lush Reverb and give everything a sense of space or add use the hugely customizable Delay to get things moving. Tweaked your effect to perfection, but wanted to put it on the send bus instead of the insert? No problem, just drag and drop. Want to totally flip your effects routing around? You can do that too. Pigments is all about making the sound in your head come out of your speakers and it gives you the best tools and the most rewarding interface to do it.

Once Pigments has helped you transform your imagination into sound, you can use its enormously powerful sequencer to bring it to life. On the sequencer page, everything is laid out simply in front of you. Watch your sequence as it plays, make adjustments to the notes, octaves and velocity by simply clicking and dragging on the steps.

Create polyrhythmic animated sequences with ease, dial in triggered randomization to keep things spicy. Pigments lets you experiment and explore a bit of randomness, safely in the confines of the key you're playing in. Select one of 14 scales for the sequencer and you'll never play a wrong note. Take your time and carefully craft a precise sequence or go on a randomized adventure. Whatever you choose, you'll love the way Pigments brings your sounds to life and hearing sequences evolve as you play them.
