This enhancement significantly reduces the risk of the fixture unexpectedly tilting downward when heavy, front-mounted accessories like barndoors or softboxes are attached.
Further enhancing its versatility, the Arri True Blue ST5 also features a stirrup center adjustment. This allows the head of the light to slide until its center of gravity aligns with or near the tilt lock, ensuring better balance and facilitating easier adjustments.
When equipped with a separately available 5000-watt bulb, this reliable lighting fixture can produce a 5.6' (1.7 m) diameter beam of 707 foot-candles from a distance of 29.7' (9 m) at full spot. In full flood mode at the same distance, it can deliver a 92 foot-candle beam that spans 36.3' (11 m) in diameter.
For added convenience, this professional-grade studio light allows for control of tilt, pan, and focus from the safety of the studio floor with the use of an optional control pole.
