Armasight's by FLIR Iris Head Mounted Display (Iris HMD) is a remote commercial heads-up display for thermal and digital imaging systems. The Iris HMD allows the operator to view the system display without looking through the eyepiece. This permits the operator to remotely view the imagery.

Weighing in at 135g, the Iris Head Mounted Display is small and lightweight with very low power consumption. It can operate continuously on rechargeable lithium batteries for up to 2 hours. The Iris HMD interface is compatible with most head and helmet mounts with the selection of the appropriate adapter. Once installed, the Iris HMD can be adjusted for either left or right eye use. Armasight's optional ergonomic, fully adjustable padded head mount assembly allows the Iris HMD to be flipped out of the line of sight. The Iris Head Mounted Display is waterproof for use in all weather conditions. Operators adjustable settings include display brightness, diopter adjustment and PAL/NTSC selection.
