Please see the manufacturer's reply below:
A) modifying your cabinet in any way will void your 90 days manufacturer's warranty
B) in regard to compatibility every cabinet has a different control board and installing a different PCBA and may affect game-play example, Rampage is 3 player games and Pacman is one player game, and installing different PCBA will affect gameplay.
C) Also, some of the games have PCBA board with 40 pin like Streetfighter and can be installed easily, however, other games have 12 pin PCBA connector that will be compatible to install but again as explained earlier even if PCBA installation it can not same gameplay without the original game-play control board.
