So this was my second ?Arcade1Up? purchase. A few years ago, I bought the Ms Pac Man Countercade as a gift for my dad. (It required no assembly). Now, when I bought this I knew there?d obviously be some assembly required. I thought maybe 10-12 pieces or something but was I wrong. Although, I will say it is 100% on me for not being more diligent as to how much work/assembly is required for one of these 3/4 scale cabinets. I did this by myself but there were a few steps that pretty much need two people to complete so I would definitely recommend buying only if you have some help or have put many of these together already. The machine itself is great! It looks awesome in a room & is faithful in its look in nearly every detail to the original MvC2 cabinet from the year 2000. It sounds, plays, and looks just like the arcade original and am very happy with the purchase now that it is together. It comes with a riser and the light up marquee which are both just icing on the cake.

The cabinet looks fine, as advertised. Online for MvC2 still does not work, which is one of the bigger selling points so still waiting on that. Quality of the art on the marquee is pretty poor when looking at it closely. Speakers are very loud. I've had occasional stutters in game and the audio is sometimes a little glitchy (particularly in the character select screen) It's a nice piece to have in the gaming room but it's not perfect. Hopefully these small flaws are patched out in future updates and the online multiplayer is available soon.

Great machine. Features every Marvel fighting game made by Capcom except MvC 3. Do you really need that many Capcom vs Marvel or X-Men fighting games? Well, the nice thing is that each of the games in this collection play differently enough from each other that they are all worthwhile. MvC 1 and MvC 2 are extremely different, in particular; the sequel is not merely a fine-tune + increased character roster of the original, it's a completely different style of fighting game. Hardware-wise, this is the best Arcade1Up machine yet. The cabinet is a little heavier, slightly larger, and more 'built up' than any others I own, and I own 11 others. The sound is especially delicious, with much more bass and reverb than the other games, giving it a much more arcade feel. Great joysticks and buttons. I'm not a fighting game pro, but I can pull off Zangief's pile driver more often than not, and these are more than suitable for the task. Arcade perfect MvC at home is a real treat!
