Where a lightweight Fresnel spotlight using daylight characteristics with compact size and high efficiency is needed, ARRI True Blue D-Series Fresnels are the preferred choice. ARRI's elegant modular construction, using corrosion-resistant aluminum extrusions and lightweight die castings, offers great structural strength and weather resistance. Together with ARRI flicker-free Electronic Ballasts, the rugged True Blue D-Series is ideal for all types of location lighting.

- EB MAX 2.5/4K High-Speed Electronic Ballast -
Starting with the EB MAX 1.8 in 2017 ARRI built the foundation for a whole new range of high speed electronic ballasts - the EB MAX range. Together with three other models - EB MAX 2.5/4, EB MAX 6/9 and EB MAX 12/18 - the MAX range combines cutting-edge features with new remote control possibilities from 575 up to 18,000 W.

The EB MAX 2.5/4 is designed for two power classes: 2,500 W and 4,000 W. Combined with state-of-the-art ARRI daylight lampheads such as the True Blue Daylight or M-Series, the EB MAX Range enables optimal performance and advanced control for high image quality at any frame rate.

For ultimate ease of use, indicators on the ballast's front panel display the lamp wattage, DMX channel, operation mode and selected lamp frequency.

Features

AutoScan
The AutoScan function provides fully automatic control of the ballast itself. After a two-stage scan the lamp frequency is selected, set, monitored and adjusted automatically by the ballast, so no further operator interaction is required.

xDMX
All models of the EB MAX Range offer new levels of DMX control. In addition to On/Off and dimming, both operation mode and frequency can now be set remotely.

High Speed 300/1000Hz
The EB MAX Range accommodates high-speed frequencies at 1,000 Hz (900 - 1,200 Hz) and - in addition - at 300 Hz (270 - 360 Hz).

Low Noise 50/60Hz
The user has the choice between 50 and 60 Hz operations to minimize the noise level in environments with low noise requirements (microphones).

CCL
CCL (Compensation of Cable Losses) compensates electrical losses on head to ballast cables up to 100 m.

ALF
ALF (Active Line Filter) optimizes power consumption and distribution, so variations in power supply voltage and frequency of up to 10 % have no influence on the power of the lamp.

- Arri 16.3" 4-Leaf Barndoors -
The ARRI 4-Leaf Barndoor Set is suitable for the ST5 5000 Watt Studio Fresnel. Barndoors attach to the front of a light and are used to restrict light from areas of a set. ARRI barndoors are heat resistant and rotatable.

- 50' Head to Ballast Power Connecting Cable -
Arri 50' Head to Ballast Cable is use to connects the Arri Compact HMI 2.5K, 4K, Arrisun & Arri-X 40/25 HMI lights to its ballasts.

- 15.8" Filter Frames -
Gels and other materials can easily be mounted in ARRI's Filter Frames and slipped onto the front of a lamphead to modify the light output.
