The Arri Skypanel S60 comes with a clamp that attaches the ballast to the head, but that adds a lot of weight to the top of a stand. This means quick adjustments and lowering and raising are a bit more of a pain. And also you have to lower the head to turn it off. Now you could instead tie some sash to the ballast and hang it off a lower knob, but this clamp is a far more elegant and secure solution. It's perhaps not essential to using the Skypanel, but it's still worth it.
