Beautiful screen display
The screen display quality is better than I expected.
The Windows updates have not gone smoothly and I am still working to get that fixed

Excellent performance
This laptop can handle all the games that I can think of with the settings turned all the way up. One set up properly I can live Stream my games without intruding on the performance of the game at full settings. I have seen a couple driver issues for Wi-Fi, but it is not a huge problem. I wish the Nvidia GPU without put graphics through the HDMI port and not just the USB-C port. I like the metal frame on the display, but I wish the power cable was a little bit longer. I also wish the Headphone jack could do better than 16 bit audio at 44.1 kHz. I love that most of the I/O is on the rear. It makes it so much simpler to route cables.

Good Performance

I finally found the perfect laptop
Simplicity, Power, Clean with some great features. I have only had this for 2 days now but I love it. It's my first ASUS. Love the product, the design and the speed. Runs Adobe Creative Suite like a desktop!

Excellent Desktop Replacement
I purchased this product a couple of months ago to use a mobile 3D workstation of sorts. It has not let me down. It has remained cool temperature wise and works fantastic. I use it hooked up to an external monitor and keyboard mostly (lid closed) and I have had no issues. Mine is paired with a 3070 RTX card which allows me to hardware render.
I also have 32GB of RAM on my model. I've been a user of ASUS products for quite some time and I have never had an issue with the quality of product or the level of support. The machine was well worth the price. I love it!

I got the G513QY not listed a Great Laptop!
All AMD system it's a beast great price point for the performance! The CPU is an 8 core 16 thread mobile processor. The GPU is a 12 GB and has GDDR 6 memory. I am very pleased with the purchase and use it more than my desktop.

Great Gaming Rig!!!!

A powerhouse!
2 weeks into owning the Asus Rog Strix 17" w/ 32gb ram (up from 16gb) and so far I couldn't be happier. It delivers with blazing speeds using my pro audio software as well as hd video production software. I highly recommend this machine for users who want a bang for their buck.

Better then expected
Exactly what I wanted I upgraded from a 1660ti laptop and this was a solid upgrade even the screen quality is much better. 300hz @1080p is a sweet deal. I feel most laptops aren't ready for 1440p. Ticks all the boxes for productivity and play.

Amazing and capable machine
Fast, quiet and remarkable. Great for gaming and normal tasking. Definitley recommend! ASUS/RYZEN/NVIDIA is a winning competition. If it is in stock, do not hesitate. These computers sell fast!

BUILD
The build quality is excellent, and the gap dimensions don't give any reason for criticism.
CONNECTIVITY
The connectivity is good, on the back you have a USB-A 3.2 Gen. 1, USB-C 3.2 Gen. 2 (with DisplayPort and Power Delivery), HDMI 2.0b, Gigabit LAN port, power port.
The left has 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen. 1, and a combined audio port.
The right has a slot for the Asus keystone, which is basically a usb that stores your settings.
UPGRADEABILITY
Very user friendly, as the memory is easily replaceable, and it has a slot for an extra m.2 drive.
KEYBOARD
The keyboard is fantastic, with a great tactile feel and per key RGB lighting.
TOUCHPAD
The touchpad offers a very large and smooth surface. (5.1 x 3.0 inches) with precise control.
DISPLAY
My laptop has the QHD screen, with adaptive sync capability and minimal blacklight bleed.
Response time is great, as are the black levels for an IPS. DPC latency on this laptop is also very good.
GRAPHICS
The graphics performance on this is great, although there is no advanced optimus or a MUX switch like with other competitors. Timespy still gives a good 10600+ score.
TEMPS
In a stress test, the clock rates of the CPU and GPU increase to 4.2 GHz and 1,560 MHz, respectively. The CPU reaches a core temperature of 89 °C (~207 °F) after a short time, after which the CPU clock speeds drop steadily until they finally stabilize at 2.8 GHz. Meanwhile, the GPU temperature rises to about 85 °C.
Overall the The ROG Strix SCAR offers a lot of raw performance with excellent workmanship in a 15-inch format, but connectivity leaves something to be desired, as there is no SD card slot or webcam.
