I have had to repair this laptop multiple times. It freezes, it shuts down, it doesn't respond. The tech has done everything possible to stop the issues. It works for about a week, then back to the same old stuff. The only thing that is reliable is the fingerprint reader. I would crush the thing if I hadn't paid so much money for it, then invested so much in repairs. I want to run it over with a backhoe. I will not buy another ASUS product again. The support was crappy, too.

I bought this about a month ago. Seems good so far, speed is solid. The only issues are that scratchpad sometimes bugs, but I close it and open it and that usually fixes it, sometimes Twitter video bugs and there are lines through the screen. It still gets 5 stars so far though.

The laptop is just ok. One of the problems I have is the screen quality. I am surprised that this screen doesn't look much better than the Sony Vaio I purchased over 10 years ago. Also, the number pad lock key doesn't light up when it's on which is very confusing. The customer service is terrible. Customer service is definitely an essential part to consider when you purchase a product. It is very disappointing.

Ce modèle est très performant pour ce que j?ai à faire, soit l?utilisation de la suite Office avec 365, rencontres en visioconférence et de la gestion de bases de données en ligne. Je peux faire plusieurs choses à la fois et tout est super fluide. C?est un modèle léger et compact mais ça n?enlève rien à la qualité habituelle des produits Asus. La couleur est magnifique. (Je recevrai une extension de garantie d?ASUS en contrepartie de mon commentaire.)

I wanted an affordable, light-weight laptop for school that had enough umph for all the apps required by my program (basically, a mid-grade processor with good multi-tasking performance). This laptop does all of that. In addition, it comes in beautiful colors and it's easy to use, with a crisp display, decent sound, and a backlit keyboard. I'm very glad I decided on this machine.

This Vivobook laptop in Gaia green is not only very nice looking but it's a great performer as well. With an 11th gen core i5 and an NVMe solid state drive, it is very fast and consistently boots Windows 10 in a little over 6 seconds. I choose this model because it has lots of different ports I need and nice extra features for a laptop in this price range. The anti glare screen is very clear and crisp, it's not super bright, however it is well worth your time to learn how to use the various included utilities which balance power, screen appearance and other features which impact battery life. MyAsus, DTS Audio Processing and the Intel Graphics Command Center are all worth learning. Very pleased overall.

I was so looking forward to getting this computer, after reading and hearing good things about Asus. For a technophobe, it was a breeze to set up and coming from windows 7 to windows 10 really made life much easier in computer land. It’s super fast and has great graphics. Now for the reasons I only gave it 3 stars…other than you can’t give it 2 ½ stars. It’s hard to make out the keyboard in normal light. Backlight is fine in dim light, but I use mine mostly during the day or right by a desk lamp. – ½ star. I thought with Harman Kardon, the sound would be superior. It’s not. Kind of tinny and not loud enough.- ½ star. But, easy fix with a small pair of external speakers. So disregard the – ½ . The fan has been a problem. When I wake it up from sleep mode, most of the time it would come on, really LOUD and not shut off. Have to close everything down and re-boot for peace and quiet. After tweaking the battery capacity to 80%, it happens less often but still happens. Now, most of the time, if I know I’m going to be away from the computer for any length of time, I just shut it off. Kind of a pain. – 1 star. Just for the heck of it, I ran the Asus hardware diagnostic to see if the fan came up as a problem. What I got instead was that there was an issue with the adapter. Which means it should be sent back to be fixed. I’ve only had it for 2 ½ months! Where was QC when they were testing this? – 1 more point. Otherwise, I’d give it 5 stars.

After reviewing several different brands I narrowed it down to this laptop. It exceeds my expectations for a fully loaded laptop that has all the features that I needed at a great price. I also love the color selection that was available. The quality is great. I like that the top outside is not plastic. Charges pretty fast and holds the charge for quite some time as well. I have noticed the bottom can get really warm when I'm using it on my lap. Other than that, it's perfect. ***Disclosure*** Please note, I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for providing feedback and writing this review.

I am very happy with this laptop. There are only three things that I wish were a little better: 1- when the keyboard light is on during the day, it's hard to see the key letters and numbers, 2 - The screen image doesn't seem as vibrant as I've experienced with my last laptop and 3 - the laptop speakers don't get very loud. They are great; however, connected to my bluetooth speaker. Those are minor issues for me. I would probably rate it 4.5. Overall, very happy with this laptop and what it has to offer.

It a good laptop but the only problem with mines is that it’s brand new when i use it and have it in my lap and movement makes the screen go black and i would have shut the computer and reboot it every time.
