Measuring 22 1/2" in width and 25" in depth, this rack cabinet offers 40 vertical panel spaces. Its multi-formed and welded frame members enhance its strength, while the base, constructed of double-formed front and rear sections, is MIG welded and reinforced with 11-gauge CRS corner caster gussets for added durability.

The vertical columns of the 740-25 interlock with the frame top and base, doubling the material thickness for superior load-bearing capability. The mounting rail channel support members are multi-formed and MIG welded, providing superior interlocking support. The panel mounting rails are fully adjustable from front to rear, offering flexibility in installation.

The base of the 740-25 includes four 3/8"-16 threaded sockets to accept leg levelers (Models LL-1) and four 11-gauge CRS corner gussets that are punched to accept casters. It also has provisions to be permanently secured to the floor, ensuring stability and safety.

The 740-25 comes with 2 pairs of 11-gauge CRS adjustable mounting rails. These precision-tapped 10-32 and recessed 1 3/16" (30mm) plated rails include convenient RU indicator hash marks to aid in equipment alignment. The rails adhere to the standard E.I.A. 5/8"-5/8"-1/2" spacing, and hat sections are on 19" panel spacing to accommodate vertical accessory mounting.

This rack cabinet features a solid, secure, professional look without punched vents, allowing for a precisely designed and maintained thermal air-flow design without the risk of contaminants or damaging objects entering through vents.

For enhanced stability, the 740-25 can be certified to the Telcordia NEBS (Network Equipment Building Systems) GR-63-CORE standard with the addition of optional Seismic Bracket, SBK-700. When properly installed, the 700 Series Racks can withstand up to a zone 4 earthquake, comparable to Richter magnitude 8.0, ensuring your equipment remains safe even in extreme conditions.
